Experience at Charlie is terrible, I DO NOT RECOMMEND and here are the reasons:
1. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, so when you book with Charlie expect slow response times from their watsapp chat bot who offers low efficacy solutions.
2. They never took initiative to send me the room code after I booked; keep in mind there are no receptionist to check guest into the rooms so everything is online. The Chatbot is supposed to send you the room code but Charlie failed to automatically send me this info when I made the booking. I had to go and find their watsapp number myself, and then add their watsapp contact, and then go through a long tidious chatbot messaging process to finally have them find my reservation. This period took me at least 45 minutes.
3. Charlie’a chat bot does not handle English very well. Their chatbot sent me a message containing login information, and the wifi password was typed as “6 MarriedCharlie1” with spaces and everything. The wifi password didn’t work because the original message was in portugues and so the actual password was “CasadoCharlie1” so this was quite frustrating. Not only was the password incorrect, but it goes to show the inefficiencies of “intelligent watsapp service chatbots” who generate stupid responses.
4. The human account managers are not derail oriented and didn’t catch these issues, thus I wasted an hour of my life after landing in São Paulo trying to figure out the password + contact someone in the building. Clue: Charlie has no receptionist or no human staff so YOU AS A GUEST YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.
5. THEY WONT REFUND YOU! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES!
6. Their “phone number” +55 (11) 99630-7416 DOES NOT EXIST so if you call it don’t expect anyone to answer, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK OF A ANXIETY INDUCING, STRESSFUL, OVERWHELMING EXPERIENCE.

Para não trocarem o colchão velho, a CHARLIE chega ao cumulo de virar um colchao de mola para enganar o hospede, falencia total de este tipo de empresa predatoria.
Achamos excelente as acomodações.
Mas o custo benefício não atendeu conforme o desejado.
Sem café da manhã incluso e estacionamento a pagar.
Numa nova oportunidade faremos melhor pesquisa.
Overall a handy lil hotel, I would add a small microwave or toaster oven to the rooms for guests with longer stays (longer than 2 nights). Well appointed, just outside the city, but withing walking distance to many things!

Extremely well located, easy access to any point of city, either for tourism or for business which was my case. Affordable and worthies every cent of what you pay to stay.

the four nights you stayed, you couldn't sleep because of the noise in the hotel. unfortunately it is likely that I will not return anymore. but I hope that in the near future they will resolve the situation so as not to have inconvenience with other guests.

Great, budget-friendly hotel in a good part of the city. The place it pretty well kept and very clean. The room was, overall, comfortable. The shower was hot with great pressure. The only real dings in terms of comfort were that the street below is noisy and the bed only had one pillow per person. Staff were friendly and tried their best to help in English. Cafe connected to the hotel has really great coffee and breakfast, too.
