I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was really big and as soon as I entered the curtains opened/closed and I was welcomed by the voice of a tablet next to the bed. It spoke in chinese, but I understood the 欢迎光临.
The staff came to clean everyday and they were very friendly. I didn't know where to go wash my laundry and after asking them about it, they took my laundry and washed and dried it for me! I later realised that I probably could've gone there myself, so I was very thankful for that.
The breakfast was also really nice. You're right there as soon as you reach the 2nd floor with the elevator. They have a nice variety - from toast and porridge to fried noodles and steamed buns.
The location of the hotel is pretty good too. It's like 3 minutes away from the lake and 20 minutes away from the nearest subway station if you like to walk. But there's also a bus stop 10 minutes away to go a bit further to the center.
I checked out at 1:30 pm and because I only planned on going to the airport at 5pm, I asked if I could stay in the lobby while waiting and they said it's okay and even gave me two bottles of water for free.
I think it's a very good hotel with friendly staff. You don't need to be fluent in chinese, but some basic knowledge really helps.
And I didn't get to try it out, but they even have a service robot - it's really cute!
We had a great stay at Homeinn. The hotel looks new and is impeccably clean. They offer free drinking water and a delicious complimentary breakfast. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making for a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was an amazing experience at a very affordable price.
