ザ ウェル スパ & ホテル(The Well)

Our two-night stay at the hotel, especially celebrating New Year's Eve there, was an unforgettable experience. The highlight was the exquisite 10-course dinner at Mori restaurant on December 31st, where every dish was deliciously crafted. The evening continued delightfully with an outstanding performance by Felix Peikli & Friends at the Biblioteket Bar, making our New Year's celebration truly exceptional. The hotel itself is a breath of fresh air; its modern ambiance and comfortable rooms provided a relaxing stay. The breakfast offered was satisfying, and the SPA facilities were undoubtedly the highlight of our visit – top-notch and rejuvenating. Considering the fantastic experience we had, I'm already contemplating more visits to this wonderful hotel.

A beautiful hotel and gorgeous treatment. The hot and cold aufguss was fabulous and we also enjoyed the sound baths. We had a couples hamman and massage and both were excellent.

Came with my husband on a day-pass. Beautiful spa. Many facilities. Was crowded on a Saturday in the afternoon. One of the best massages I have had (Edwin). Cabs from Oslo are pricey ($90USD) so plan ahead to take the bus if you want to save money. Bus take an hour + versus 30 minutes in a cab.

Kjempefint hotell og spa som er deilig å slappe av på. Kjipt å måtte betale 150,- for å parkere bilen - det gir liksom så dålig stemning. Burde vært gratis for hotellgjester.

Dette var skuffende. Hotellet er nokså slitt og ser betydelig dårligere ut i virkeligheten enn på bildene. Vi hadde 4 rom i vårt reisefølge og dette var gjennomgående for alle 4 rommene til tross for at de var i ulike bygg. Badene var ikke særlig godt rengjort. Varierende service. Noen ansatte var veldig hyggelige og imøtekommende. Bassengområdet er hyggelig og kanskje det fineste området på denne resorten.

Lange køer i resepsjonen og spa avdelingen. Ingen informasjon om at restaurantene må forhåndbestilles. Da vi skulle kjøpe badetøy var de svært lite hyggelige, og ingen information. Da vi kom tilbake senere på kvelden var det tomt for håndkler. Vi var både sultne og kalde. Men frokosten og servicen der var nydelig:) Reiser aldri tilbake.

Amazing hotel. A veritable smorgasbord of sauna and spa choices. I never knew there was such a variety! They really push you to "disconnect" from all media, not just social media. In house restaurant is delicious. Even better, hotel is just 25 min from Oslo and hotel prices are 33% cheaper than smaller, more spartan, hotels in downtown Oslo. Stay at the hotel and take public transportation to Oslo. It is a nightmare driving in Oslo; they clearly don't want cars downtown...which is a good thing! My recommendation is to tour Oslo in one long day and then relax at the Well for two days. I wish we had done that.

The Spa is super clean and modern, there is everything that you would need to have a relaxing day. Hot pools in open area, as well as closed area. Jacuzzi, different types of showers, cold pools… Aufguss ritual were fantastic as well. Sandrè was super professional. BUT, at the end of this relaxing day, you will get out of the structure (which is located in the middle of nowhere, no traffic, super calm, in a huge free area) and you should pay the parking. The machine doesn’t work, the app doesn’t recognise the car number, the lady in the reception can not help and they gave us a website address to try to pay later… and this is exactly what you dont need after a day in a SPA…

Formidable hôtel facilement accessible par bus depuis Oslo (5 minutes à pied entre l'arrêt de bus et l'hôtel). La structure offre un grand moment de calme et de sérénité avec des chambres permettant la vue directe sur la forêt permettant une bonne amternative à l'absence de télévision (l'hôtel prend le parti interrssant de la détox à la technologie). Attention, il est à noter que la politique dubspa prône le retour à la nature (donc la tenue d'Adam est acceptée pour toutes les facilités hormis un jour par semaine). Le port du maillot de bain est acceptée mais nécessite l'achat de l'hôtel par soucis d'uniformité. Le petit-déjeuner est de très bonne facture avec un très bon choix de produits de très bonne facture. L'établissement est doté d'un formidable spa qui en fait l'un de ses attraits (le plus grand de Scandinavie apparemment). Il offre un très large choix de piscines intérieur / extérieurs, de nombreux saunas mais également jacuzzi et bains à bulle. Un rêve de détente en perspectives.
