「The stay was comfortable. The staff is accommodative and welcoming. Location is a little far from railway station. 1.3km to be exact. So if you have more luggage then take hand rikshaw. Resort is beautiful. Greenery everywhere. Some rooms are too small. So go for delux rooms and not cottages. Food is ok. This being resort, 9% GST id applied on restaurant bill. So be mindful.」

Location was ok. Front desk service is okish.... security is pretty much on point as well.
But the technical team is slow..... i ask for a remote battery replacement and it took me about 40minutes + 3reminders to get it done.
End up i had to open my room door and stopped a staff passing by to get help.
Was a horrible experience with services....
Room wise its clean and manageable.... facilities is okish.... Breakfast more room for impovement too with variety...

Very comfortable room, in a quiet and relaxing spot of Matheran. Delicious food and above all very friendly and serviceable staff! Our stay was lovely, we even extended it for two more nights without any issue. The hotel staff was always ready to help us with any inquiry. The room was large and with all necessary things.

Firstly, the property approach road is too narrow for two 4-wheelers to pass by each other. And property was looking a bit not maintained. Otherwise for the cost for staying it was a good deal. Swimming pool was maintained well. Stay + food as a package would be costly. Rather book for only stay and order food on a-la-carte. It would save some money. Food tastes well here. Only issue that you would not be served with early tea, if you want some, as the chef arrives after 8am only. Rest was all good

”during my recent stay at hotel mari aai, i had a fairly good experience. The hotel's location was convenient, and the staff was generally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities met my basic needs. However, there were a few areas where improvement is needed. The room interior is not so good. The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, and the breakfast options were somewhat limited. Additionally, there was some noise from neighboring rooms, which affected the overall tranquility of my stay. In summary, hotel mari aai provided a decent stay, but there is room for enhancement in terms of amenities, interior design and noise isolation. I would consider staying here again, depending on my needs for future trips”
