コートヤード バイ マリオット スプリングフィールド(Courtyard Springfield)

I’ve stayed at this hotel 2x - once in 2023 and once in 2024 - same time each year. We were in town for an event. The first time the hotel was good. Nothing spectacular, but clean and nice enough. This time, the service was terrible, it was NOT clean (especially the pool!) and our experience was 3 stars, at best. To be fair, I did speak with the hotel manager following my stay about a few, not all, of the issues. They promised to credit me for charges we should not have incurred (never saw the refund) and credit me a “free” night via my Marriott account. I got the points, no credit for a free stay (I’m told it’s not enough). I don’t know. Needless to say, I will not be back and don’t recommend this hotel. There are signs all over the hotel asking specifically for 5 star reviews. So I must not be the only one with a sub-par experience. And while I appreciate the Manager’s time to hear me out, it was too little, too late.

The room was clean and the pillows were wonderful. The heater was set to 68 but the room felt like 75 all night. There was no fan in the bathroom and the water didn’t drain well which left you standing in water. For the price it was ok but it was a noisy and unattractive location.

The hotel is Very outdated and Dingy. When we arrived we stood at the counter for about 15 minutes until the girl across the lobby said do you need help. Very loud and we had a few knocks on our door that weren't meant for us. I don't know what goes on in this hotel but if it wasn't so late and after a 5 hour drive we would have went elsewhere.

The hotel needs a makeover. The room smelled of smoke, the towel rail kept falling off the wall and the toilet tank was leaking. Room was ok, but the hotel is showing its age and is frayed at the edges

This place is aged and unkept. They do not clean well at all. There was someone’s hair all over our bathroom, mirrors were dirty. The front desk never answers the phone at any point.

This was an okay stay for us. The beds were very uncomfortable so none of my family got a good night of sleep. The menu at the bistro seemed limited so we didn’t visit it. No one was at the market to take our payment when we bought items there. We had to wait 10 minutes by the bar to be acknowledged. We won’t be visiting a Marriott anytime soon.

Perfectly situated near local dining and shopping mall. The facility made a great gathering spot to meet with friends.

Nice Hotel great value for the price, but the area is not as nice as being in Alexandria, not a walkable area

I booked a Marriott property because there is a certain expectation with this brand of hotel. However, it was not any different than Best Western, Holiday Inn, or other brand name hotel property I've stayed in around that area. Unfortunately, the beds weren't very comfortable and our heater/air conditioner was difficult to regulate. We found it was either really cold or really hot in the room. Not sure if it's because we booked through *******, but there was rust in the bathroom which was older looking. Everything was clean, though, and room darkening curtains are always nice esp. when you don't have a good night's sleep. Our floor was quiet and housekeeping was very kind.
