ゲゲストWe had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay.
We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi.
We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier.
Thank you!
CChinyWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel, largely thanks to the incredibly attentive and responsive staff. One of our friends experienced altitude sickness during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. They were so helpful, checking on us the following day to ensure we were okay. This level of care and concern made a huge difference in our experience.
On top of the amazing service, the hotel is beautifully decorated and creates a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, making it a pleasure to stay here.
We highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and beautiful ambiance!
MMelissaHongGrand library with many books. It is apparent that owner had invested substantial capital in the building and room construction. Room has all amenities with both choice of cloth bath towel and disposal. Bed is clean and comfortable but carpet needs attention.
The property also has a resident friendly cute mini Yorkshire terrier who greets guests on arrival. Very charming.
We had dinner at the property, restaurant table was closed and we were seated in cafe library. Very comfortable and calm environment. Meals were reasonable and not bad.
For improvement:
Not sure if it is due to off peak season, service attitude of a few front desk receptionists is lacking and can be improved. Cafe library is closed and we weren’t able to have breakfast there. Reluctantly we had to have breakfast in room which isn’t our preferred choice as the lobby is closed even at 8:15am when we went downstair to check on status of our breakfast.
