En primer lugar, es conveniente destacar que no se trata de un Hotel Melia. Se nota en absolutamente todo, las habitaciones están sin reformar, presentan signos de desgaste evidentes. Por lo que se refiere al desayuno, la calidad de la comida es muy muy escasa. También se encuentra bastante lejos del centro de la ciudad. Yo lo elegí pensando que sería un cuatro estrellas sólido y resulta que mis compañeros quedándose en hostales reformados del centro de León, han estado mucho mejor que yo. Yo no volvería, honestamente, a este Hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel ! Right in the heart of the city , close to the most incredible cathedral de Leon ! It’s in a historic building but the rooms are very modern and very well appointed, full of every comfort . For the value I would say it is exceptional

Overall nice hotel, ok reception, BUT the employees seemed forced to be untruthful when it came to whether or not the A/C worked. The window to one of our rooms was open upon our arrival and the so called A/C or ventilation system had to be turned on. It started, but there was no cool air. We were offered to change rooms and embarked upon a wild goose chase trying to find a cooler room on the floor below. The window in the new room was also wide open, letting in the hot outside air. The A/C did not work there either so we stayed in the original rooms. Large rooms and large bathrooms. The shower was a bit small for the size of the bathroom and the shower door in one room was very creaky. The employees tried hard, but the management was clearly lacking.

The Silken Luis de Leon is rated a four star hotel, but it certainly didn't feel like one. I travel a lot and always try to stay in four star hotels in Europe. The hotel restaurant is only open four days a week for two hours per day. The rooms do not have complimentary water bottles nor do they have coffee machines. There is complimentary coffee in the lobby, but only after 11:30 a.m.. There is no conditioner nor body lotion, and no feather pillows, ie. the hotel lacks all the amenities that I would expect in a four star hotel. I will say that my room was clean and comfortable, but then that is what I would have expected in a three star hotel also. I guess my peeve is that the hotel provides none of the amenities that I would have expected in a four star hotel...

To find the Exe Hotel in Leon, aim for the large downtown El Corte Ingles store – then it's right across the street. Bright and modern, sharp and clean, extremely well appointed bedrooms (ours came with a fairly enormous sitting-room) and spacious bathrooms. All a city hotel should be. Parking is available in the large carpark below, with direct access to the hotel, and it's a ten minute walk into the city centre. Exceptionally helpful staff at reception, ready to dispense local information.

What a find, just 10 minutes outside Astorga this Rural Boutique Hotel is amazing. Respectfully restored by the owners over 7 years the end result is fantastic. Each room is unique in design and thoughtfully decorated to enhance the ‘Rural’ ambience. The free breakfast is fantastic and the outside relaxing areas in the courtyard are amazing. Can not praise this property highly enough, you will need to come yourself and enjoy the experience. Carlos is amazing and speaks very good English with good suggestions on what to do and see in the local area. Do not often give 10 out of 10 reviews but Via Avis is exceptional. We have travelled as a couple all over Spain and by far this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Excelente ubicación, escasamente 3 minutos de la Pza de España (Ayuntamiento) y a 10 de ka Catedral y el Palacio de Gaudí. Habitación muy amplia con baño conpleto con bañera y también plato de ducha. Personal muy amable y atento. Dispone de Spa aunque se echa en falta una cafetería, bar.. donde poder sent**** y tomar algo tranquilamente. También dispone de un enorme aparcamiento para dejar los coches con acceso interior al hotel. De volver por esta coudad, ya sé dónde me hospedaré de nuevo.

Very unimpressed with this AC Marriott property. Arrived on a Friday after a very hard week. Staff has been very hands off. Bathroom is outdated and below par. The worst of the worst was no food service, no room service, and basically no service on the weekends. Their restaurant is closed Fri, Sat, and Sun. Very disappointing after walking all day and expecting to enjoy a nice evening in my room. I’d pass on this property and spend your euros elsewhere. Done with Marriott in Europe after a several bad stays.

We’ve been staying here every 5 years or so for over 25-30 years to visit family of my wife and it’s as if time has stood still. There do now have WiFi which is good enough, but apart from that, the A/C is still substandard and as the hotel is an AC it’s quite funny. Then there is only one plug on one side of a double bed. No USB plugs and no real place to open an oyster type suitcase. It’s amazing that a Marriott group hotel can be so lost in the past. The personnel are all very friendly.
