Hotel just refurbished. A great deal for a very nice hotel. Reception staff very nice and most helpful. What a find! Highly recommend this current lovely but modest hotel. Would rate it 8+ at least. Significantly better than other hotels I stayed at this trip for the same funds.

Newly opened in 2023...sharing the parking lot with Tanger Seaside Outlets right on the main street (US 1/Coastal Highway) wth super easy access to lots of stores, restaurants and activities. 5-minute drive to the beach and boardwalk. Great location! A great value as well. Rooms were modern and efficient. Comfy beds, lots of outlets (including USB), lots of lights, large TV with lots of channels, microwave, mini fridge, and small desk with chair. Bathroom was very neat with lots of towels, bar soap, soap dispensers in the shower and hair dryer. Water pressure was great. No Iron...you'll have to get it from the front desk if needed. Cleaning is not done everyday... as with most hotels now-a-days, but the hotel staff did knock and asked what we needed and gave us more towels as requested, and emptied out garbage cans. Staff was great. Front desk was very accommodating. The woman staffing the morning breakfast was simply amazing...very helpful and attentive. I don't think I saw her stand still for more than 20 seconds during a mildly busy Friday morning. Outdoor pool was nice and neat as was the adjacent fire-pit which had four lawn chairs surrounding it. Neither was busy during out Wed-Fri mid-August stay. Breakfast was great (6:30 am - 9:30 am) with lots of beverages (coffee, tea, and juices), cereal, hot eggs, hot sausages, a cool pancake maker, bagels, muffins. yogurt and fruit. They have enough options to have a full breakfast or just a quick bite to get your day started. Large parking lot with mulitple entrances (card access) to make getting to and from your room easy. Convenient traffic light leaving the parking lot making it easy to make a left or right onto US-1 or enter into the lot.
ゲゲストWe enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn Rehoboth Beach. It's on the main Coastal Highway near many restaurants, and close drive to beaches Our room was clean at arrival and updated. And the hotel is well kept and comfortable. My only complaint is that they are still not doing housekeeping. Not even light cleaning in between nights, and you have to drag your dirty towels down to the lobby to get new ones, and the response everyday ”I hope housekeeping has some here to give”. I understand a lot of hotels aren't, but I really am finding this unacceptable for the costs paid. And again, while I know some other hotels also aren't, unless it's mentioned, hotels just keep doing this uncceptable practice. The pool was very nice, but there were never clean towels on the rack for the pool in the 4 days we were there, and always had to go to the desk to ask them, and the response was always, ”I don't know if housekeeping has any there”. We just gave up on the last day and just used our used beach tiwels Free breakfast was average typical hotel free breakfast. Nothing special or spectacular, but acceptable and fine, even if average. All in all, we did have a great stay. And I would have given a 5 star if not for the lack of daily housekeeping and the towel hassle of having to deal with dirty wet towels schlepping to the front desk and begging for more towels.
DDonnie DI recently had a disappointing experience at this hotel that has led me to decide against returning. I had pre-paid for my room through Priceline, which advertised a spa tub as part of the amenities. However, upon checking in on Labor Day evening, I was informed by the front desk employee that my room did not include a spa tub. The hotel was practically empty, with only a few cars in the parking lot, so I thought it would be reasonable to ask if I could pay the difference to upgrade to a room with a spa tub. The employee's response was unhelpful and dismissive, as he stated that since the room was prepaid, no changes could be made, even though I was more than willing to pay the additional $29 difference. Given the circumstances, I found this response quite frustrating and felt that it reflected poorly on the hotel's customer service. I decided to leave and seek accommodation elsewhere, but unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund any of the prepaid amount. The employee’s attitude only added to the negative experience, and it was clear that they were not interested in accommodating or resolving the issue in a customer-friendly manner. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but this experience has left me with no desire to return. The lack of flexibility and the poor customer service have overshadowed any previous positive experiences which were already a few and far in between.
ゲゲストWhere to start. 1st off, someone at booking.com told me that all rooms were non-smoking and that people were guided to the nearest smoking area. LIE. My special request was non smoking. They almost made me turn around and drive another 3.5 hours home. But they ”pulled strings” and got someone to switch with me for non-smoking AFTER telling me that I could go somewhere else the manager called....wanting me to pay another 500$....I said no way. The floors were absolutely DISGUSTING! My 1 year olds feet, legs and hands were BLACK from dirt and grime. The bathtub floor was stained grey from it, too. They do NOT shampoo the carpets. Ever. There was crayon marks all over the rooms. Very badly patched areas on the wall. Doors were busted....like won't even shut/latch busted. The bathroom didn't even have a fully functioning knob....half of it was missing. The people over top of us came in at like 12 am. And their kids were running around like crazy. Stomping. My daughter called the front desk, he said he'd take care of it. It went on for another 20-30 mins. So I had to walk down here, where as he said he walked next to the room and didn't hear anything, so I had to threaten to call the police if they didn't do anything about all the ruckus. (It was 230am.....) The bathtub drain was clogged with other people's gross hair and it drained slow because of it. I asked a staff member for a few extra trash bags because I didn't want room service in the room and I have a baby in diapers, that way I could take them out to the trash reception outside and dispose of them. He asked what room and never came...... Breakfast was nothing but junk food. They could offer eggs, waffles, sausage, bananas, apples and yogurt instead of just tiny junk muffins, donuts and other breads and cereal. My son found 2 loose screws somewhere. How great. No wifi. There was trash stuck/left between the fridge (which needs updating, btw....) and the cupboards. The fridge was old and the light kept flickering when it wanted to work.
My recent stay at The Inn at Lewes was exceptional. From the warm welcome to the cozy yet sophisticated ambiance, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The room was impeccably clean. The standout feature of my stay was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel valued, attending to my every need with genuine care. 100% would be back!
