ホテル ムラノ(Hotel Murano)

The amenities aren’t what they used to be. Allot has changed but the staff is amazing.

I went to check in and the gentleman told me I could not use my fathers credit card for the security deposit because my father was not present to show his ID I understood what he was saying but he was not warm or polite about it and he continued to gossip and smile about the situation with his co worker when I walked away, he shut me down when I was frustrated and did not seem to care I drove two hours there from Bellingham and needed to be there for my daughters cheer competition the following morning at the time it was around 11pm and my options were limited and I had already paid for my room weeks before. The worker was not helpful or empathetic about the situation he kept telling me no ma’am anytime I tried to find a solution I was clearly very panicked and upset, it was terrible customer service with a very uncaring employee. The hotel was beautiful but I noticed a lot of the time during my stay no employees were at the front desk they were hiding out in the back for a long period of time and I overheard a woman even complaining about no workers never being up front she seemed very angry about the matter, also calls were rarely answered. I understand it’s a big hotel but it’s such a bad look with 0 room service and no employees around for help, I am also a VIP member I looked forward to staying at this hotel because I was assured great customer service care and that was not my experience at all. I will not be coming back.

I loved all the glassware on all the floors. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfy. Staff was super nice

The lobby and hallway areas of the hotel are very nice and stylish. Unfortunately, when you arrive at the rooms, you find a lot of maintenance that needs to be done. Cracks in sink, stained carpets, dirty air vents and windows etc. The bedding was nice though. Also did not appreciate being charged $150 for incidentals upon arrival, when there is nothing in the room anyway. They also said they would email a receipt for charges, and they did not.

Loved the glass art showcased in various parts of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful except for one very grumpy bartender at the bar Sat. night...maybe he was tired from making all the drinks for the cheer parents..dont know but he was rude to my husband when he ordered a drink. Other than we loved the hotel, our first stay there and will definitely remember for our next visit to Tacoma.

We heard a banging noise every 5 seconds from the elevators 24-7 Thermostat in the room did not work properly. Rooms need upgrading.

Girls at lobby desk did not seem happy when I came to check in as if I was interrupting whatever they where doing. They provided us a room key to a room that already had someone checked in watching television. HUGE SECURITY RISK. Room was supposed to have a view of the mountain. From floor nine we could only see the back side of buildings. Room seemed clean, art through out the hotel was interesting. UPDATE: at 8:50PM someone tried to enter our room and then a few minutes later the lobby called our room to ask who we were. I wouldn’t waste your money staying here.

The hotel has a great bar area and restaurant. The room was clean and the location was very convenient. I rode the train in and uber was only $10. Light rail is also available on the weekdays.
