La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tucson - Reid Park

The hotel was nice however it needs a good cleaning. The blinds and base boards were covered so thick in dust you could write your name in it. We dropped a bag of chips behind the fridge and found 3 other bags of chips not ours and food from a former guest. We also found a used box of condoms sitting in a night stand. We reserved and paid for a pool side room. When i arrived I was not given a room beside the pool. But rather was told the room could lead to the pool. Also, the third party's page said check out was by noon however the hotel said check out is 11:00. Nice breakfast however, the staff was pleasant. Nothing too special. Also paid another $50. Deposit at the hotel for room damages that were not mentioned prior to Check in at the hotel. Takes 3 to 5 business days for it's return.

When we arrived at 3 o’clock check-in, our room was not ready, we had to wait till 345 until we check in. And then service at the front desk was sp****, so you had to call to see if someone would answer and come to the front desk. 

Room was a clean, service was amazing

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was my 1st time in Tucson and this place was in a good location and the front desk was friendly and accommodating. I need an extra 15 mins to check out and it was not a problem.

The room smelled musty - remnants of when smoking was allowed in rooms. Rust and mildew in the bathroom around the shower and tub. Chipped paint on the tub. Complementary shampoo and body wash bottles had been opened and were half full. The shower water temperature was barely warm. The sound did not work on the TV. I only stayed one night and the price was right. Nothing unexpected here. Ending on a high note - the front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. Can't wait to taste the "free" breakfast in the morn'. ;)

I was there for a week and my room was not serviced even once. They say it will be serviced every third day or more frequently if you ask, and no, I never had the do not disturb sign outside my door. I asked the housekeeping lady (who was across the hall from my room) if she could just take out my garbage and give me a roll of toilet paper. She said “yes of course”, and that never happened. My room key was demagnetized 3 times, of course my hands were full each time and I had to walk across the property to get to the front desk. The rooms are just generally pretty dingy. The fan also wouldn’t change temps sometimes, I think the knob was a little *****ped out maybe. Pay the extra few bucks and stay somewhere else. I stayed here because I’ve never had a bad experience at a La Quinta, but I can’t say that anymore.

The carpets were damp, i assumed the floors were washed and weren't dry all the way and it felt weird but other than that i was satisfied. 👌

The shower head was falling off the wall and the pool heater was dead. Towels were not given frequently enough. The room key kept deactivating, requiring multiple trips to the front desk to get into the room. The people were really nice, though.
