The hotel was excellent except for one important item. The shower head and water pressure was terrible, I was not able to wash my hair because the water pressure was so low and the shower head did not help. The bed was comfortable, staff was very nice and the food was delicious.

The Tuxon itself is pretty cool. They did good job of converting a motel into something cooler. The location is iffy. I was there for the gem show so for convenience it's perfect for that. You can walk to each exhibit. But if I wasn't there for the show there's no chance I'd stay there because it's next to a highway, and around the property just seems dodgy. Again property itself is nice, just wish you could pick it up and put it somehow else.

I loved the decor of the hotel. It was very clean, food and drinks in the restaurant were delicious. Everyone was very friendly

Good secure location in the barrio, but the unfortunate thing there were no safe in the room or hotel management office A troubling issue for someone that came in for the Jewelry show had to switch hotels

This is a great site to visit the Tucson Gem and Mineral show from. Rooms are small but clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is rather noisy from the I-10 which is very close. Overall, nice place to stay for the show.

Modern and easy to access. Room is not super quiet or dark at night. Would also be helpful to have more signage of where room numbers are.

The woman at the front desk who checked us in (and out, the following morning) was brusque and unfriendly; not sure she even made eye contact with me or smiled during either interaction, and she was very offhand - no real welcome or effort to make an impression, or check if we had questions/had what we needed. In our room, the door did not seal; it was like it had warped or maybe was installed poorly, but in any case it would not fully shut. On the inside of the room, the door was not flush with the wall by about 1/2". Noise was pretty rough during our one night stay, and not from the highway or cars, but from other guests. This may have been because our door was not fully closed, but we could hear conversations outside clearly (and into late hours). The inside of the room seemed a little cheap/quickly thrown together. It reminded me of a poorly flipped house, where 'new' finishes were put down as a bare minimum effort without making the effort to correct any underlying problems or improve the quality of the building overall. Lighting was also weird - there were two options for light in the room. One was the overhead light which was insanely bright, the other was the bedside table wall sconces which were very dim. No good in-between, and not something I've ever noticed in a hotel before. Bathroom door was a barn door, so... no real privacy. Those don't seal.

Clean, up to date rooms well appointed but very small. Would recommend for any traveler
