Come altre volte, è andata bene. Purtroppo non si trova sempre parcheggio, ma in zona ce n e molto. È un po' fuori mano se non si ha l auto, colazione top anche per vegani (però avvisate)
Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel! When we first drove up is only 5 mins away from the airport and is basically off a motorway so thought oh no originally, however when we got to the hotel there’s a big car park outside that you can park your car on for free (really helpful for us as we hired a car for driving to lake Garda and Venice) and the reception and facilities are really lovely. Beautiful pool outside and have a spa inside that is fully open on the weekend (in the week it’s just pool only). Staff are really friendly can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was buffet style with bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, cereals, different cakes everyday. It is not your typical full English as in no sausages or beans but is very filling and I really enjoyed the breakfast. For evening meal every night we were in Verona we went to Verona town centre which is about a 15 minute drive. We pre booked using the hotel free shuttle bus there and then got a taxi back as there werent times back we wanted for the shuttle and didn’t want to be on a time scale and taxi cost around 30 euro. Rooms are decent, spacious, a bit outdated in places. Had to give 4 stars as also had building work next to the hotel so could hear that but for us the hotel was so nice that didn’t bother us. You get what you pay for and the service was excellent. For me it is worth being further out from Verona as I love a pool and spa and time to relax which you wouldn’t have in the town centre. Being next to the airport turned into a plus for me also as no stress when picking and dropping off the hired car and when travelling to and from home.

ゲゲストI was concerned after reading some of the other reviews but we found the hotel very nice. No odors no noise. We also had a very spacious room with plenty of space. Staff was kind and helpful. They recommended a great off site Parking garage. But be careful of the ztl when returning to pick up your luggage The upstairs breakfast has a great view. And although small it had a great number of options
LLady WI was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.
ゲゲストI'm sorry to have to leave a negative review for the hotel in question and in particular for the front manager Cristina Bianconi. I booked a room for my holidays with breakfast included and the flexibility to change the date in case of unforeseen events (cancellation was not included). Unfortunately, my flight was changed and as soon as I found out, I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was possible to change the date by just one day (stay on Wednesday instead of Thursday). Unfortunately, the front manager refused to make any changes to my reservation, except by paying an additional 100 euros, despite the availability for a date change being assured on the website. Additionally, there was a double room available at the same price on the Booking site. Her lack of willingness to help and the lack of effort in finding a suitable solution caused me not only great disappointment and inconvenience but also many problems. I was very disappointed by the unprofessional and unwelcoming behaviour of the front manager Cristina and the negative and uncooperative approach of the hotel as a whole. I was also unable to speak with anyone else despite my requests. I strongly advise against booking at this hotel for anyone looking for quality customer service and professional reservation management.
The hotel was a good 20 minutes on a bus from the outskirts of Verona. The parking is not free you have to pay €10 a day to park in their underground car park. The room was dirty near the bed an inch thick along one wall. The bathroom had black mould round the edges and up the tiles., also the shower head was black. There was an inch wide full length of the bath piece of tape stuck to the bottom of the bath with mould growing on the whole length. Four beds in our room left very little room to walk. The bed that we slept in was supposed to be a double but there was a huge ridge in the middle as the two beds which were pushed together were different heights. There was another single bed at the side and one at the bottom. When I asked to change rooms they said they were full up, and the staff were not helpful. The carpet in the corridor was absolutely filthy, it had been beautiful in its day but that must have been 50 years ago. The curtains were hanging down off their hooks and were not connected to the rods to pull or push.
