Hotel Fontana Verona

Lovely family hotel 20 mins walk from the Garibaldi bridge but excellently served by Buses 21 and 22 which stop right outside the hotel in either direction, Recommendation for both the Japanese next door and Pizzeria Mammeli (thankfully not just a pizzeria but a full restaurant) were excellent.

We stayed in this charming hotel for two nights and can only speak well about it. The staff was really friendly, there is a busstop just outside the hotel, the breakfast buffet is nicely stocked, our room was very clean and cosy and it is lovely to have the aperitif outside on the little patio area, especially getting some small tapas with it. Another small fact I noticed were the blackout curtains, absolutely great to be able to sleep a bit longer :) If we ever come back to Verona we will be back in this hotel.

An Immaculately clean hotel where the staff could not have been any more friendly or helpful. Comfortable rooms of a decent size, on site parking for our car & an easy walk into the city centre. Amazing breakfast too!

We had such a pleasant experience! The staff at albergo fontata is so welcoming and friendly! I was not feeling well and everyone was really nice and helpful. They give you a lot of information about the city and the breakfast was also great. The location is perfect, it's not noisy and it's 15 minutes walk from the centre. If you are with a car then have a perfect parking area and I highly recommend!

Great hotel! Walkable to main sites, friendly staff and very clean

Stayed here for five nights and would highly recommended this hotel. Very comfortable beds and pillows, room cleaned and fresh fluffy towels daily. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, a particular mention to the staff at breakfast! Location is perfect, a 15 minute stroll through beautiful streets, lined with some amazing examples of Italian residences, both safe and picturesque. There’s a bus stop literally outside the door, 2 euro to buy on the bus into town, or buy 10 tickets for 13 euro, I think, from local shops. A small, friendly, family run hotel, well worth a visit.
