I was at teh Evan Hotel during the WACO WORDFEST in 2024-and found their staff positive,professional and pro-active.
The facilities were modern and clean.I especially appreciated the provision of tea and coffee and water in the Lobby.
I would heartily recommend the Evan Hotel to those staying in Waco

Very nice hotel and comfortable bed. Big tv and great shower. Close to Magnolia Market area which was wonderful to visit. The bar was actually open and welcoming. Great amenities in the room but fyi no microwave. Would stay here again if ever back in Waco.

Very nice modern hotel, clean and staff was very friendly. Close to everything in Waco. Has several really nice pools, and well equipped gym. Five minutes to the Silos, just off interstate from Baylor, and many good restaurants including Magnolia Table. Also close to bowling, movie theater, shopping, and Top Golf.

Arrived evening and enjoyed a meal in house. Nice, well appointed room. Breakfast in the AM and on the road. Nice stay and good location. …. I’m finished with my review now but am being forced by Trip Advisor to add more to my review. Silly, don’t you think?

The hotel staff are really nice and professional. This is our 2nd stay. It was so nice, I insisted on staying here twice. The room is spacious and the shower is awesome. The decor is nice too. I will definitely tell my friends and family to stay here on their next visit to Waco.

The room was spectacular and very comfortable and clean, the atmosphere was great, the hotel staff was friendly and professional everything about our stay was amazing. The bar was stocked very well and the bartender was very good and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, the outside area was my favorite. We will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it.

Overall, my family and I were pleased with our stay. Our room was clean, roomy, and inviting. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. My only issue was our dining experience. I was excited to try the hotel breakfast after seeing great reviews about the food, but our experience was pretty disappointing. There were only two other tables of customers on 10/12/24, but everyone waited a long time to get their drinks and food. Our food was cold and our waffles were tough. The woman taking our order was rude and loudly kept complaining that she was the only one working. We could hear her throwing plates in the kitchen and arguing with the front desk attendant who was helping her. It was a really uncomfortable situation and an unpleasant way to start the morning. We obviously didn’t go back for breakfast the following morning. If we are in the area again and decide to stay here again, we’ll make sure to steer clear of the dining area.

The decor is amazing and has a warm feel. My family enjoyed dinning in at the restaurant. The baked shrimp was so good and just enough. The kids had some wings which were also very good. Like chicken off the bone good. Our room was spacious on the top floor with a pool view. We enjoyed the hospitality and we be staying again.

My room was nice, but my coworker had to be moved because the breaker tripped in her room twice, two different rooms. They did not offer a community area where outside beverages were allowed. I came with a business and there was limited opportunity to network with the restrictions given. It would be fine for a quiet family vacation, but not the best for a business experience.
