We travelled with a coach party and this was our second week after a week of touring. Hotel is beautiful, great pool to swim in and sea view room where you can hear the sea. Nawood (sorry if spelt wrong) was our waiter on our first night and treated us like royalty - such a polite helpful young man. We participated in the yoga, aqua aerobics and boccia twice in our week and Chrishmal was a great instructor- knew what he was doing to make them proper workouts but with a lot of fun as well - invited us to join in but not pushy. Food was great particularly the Sri Lankan night, live music in the lounge bar after dinner. We would completely recommend this hotel.

We had been to this hotel 4-5times on full board basis earlier too. Still the place maintains its hospitality well. All 3 meals were on buffet, there were limited varieties but the food quality is same and tasty. We were allowed a complementary late checkout also which was more convenient when traveling with kids rather running with the checkout at 12. Special thanks to Dilhani who is in the front office for being more polite and helpful. Overall everthing was perfect. Room no: 239 & 241. Arrival on 26 Oct.

We added the Royal Palms to the end of a 12 day tour of Sri Lanka for a little r&r. Prior to arrival I requested a room near the one we had before and we were allocated the same room. On arrival we were met by Dilhani (a credit to the hotel as is Mr Chaminda). We were offered a refreshing drink and taken straight to our room to be supprised by a lovely welcome back. All the staff we met were excellent, always there with a greeting and a smile. A special mention to Ajesh on reception, Priyantha our pool attendant and Ajith who kept our room spotless. There is a good selection of food in the restaurant both local and international. The local Lion Beer and spirits are good with plenty of choices of cocktails on the AI, my favourite was the Arrack cocktail. Unfortunately the beach isn't brilliant as most of it has been washed away and while we were there the red flag was out and the waves were high however the pool is lovely. There are activities, a gym, spa and shops around the area with plenty of Tuk tuks available

A super hotel with sea views and easy beach access. The hotel have made sure that all of their team are friendly and efficient. In the restaurant a special mention for Supuni who was just delightful! The bar staff at the pool bar were great fun, the pool attendants were so friendly. The entertainment team encouraged us to join in Yoga and Aqua Aerobics, special mention for Crishmal - I will continue with my yoga practice I promise!

Without doubt the best hotel holiday experience we've ever had. On our honeymoon was hoping for something special and royal palms beach is certainly that. From the moment you arrive to the minute you leave the exceptional staff just can't do enough for you. Super efficient, warm, patient and always full of smiles and kindness. Abiding memories of hotel are wonderful facilities but overwhelmingly it is the staff who make this such a magical place. Special mentions to Upali, Nawod, Benura, Duminda, Jayindu, Chanaya, Jayasena. Kasun was welcoming and helpful every day in reception and is a lovely man. Special thanks to the chefs for delicious food every day, and also for our exquisite Japanese meal on our last night. We have recommended this exceptional hotel, and your beautiful country, to everyone we know. No wonder it receives so many awards. We'd give it our own if we could..

Wonderful property clean & food is really good. Dilhan from front office has give good assistance regarding the services and property. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Room are fairly big and clean. Nice beach view and can see awesome sunset from the from
