We loved our stay at the Swann House, built in 1883. It is in a wonderful location and is charming inside and out with lots of common space and well-appointed rooms. Kevin was welcoming and accommodating. Additionally, the event staff did a wonderful job transforming the space for a wedding. I would recommend the Swann House for an intimate wedding with lots of character.

Will be back! The staff and accommodations are top! From the second I arrived, I was blown away by how gorgeous and comfortable everything was -- only to discover the staff is just as wonderful, and the location can't be beat!! A gem of DC for sure!

After a few nights in a (very) cozy room we got upgraded to one of the 'real' rooms' of the Swann House. But the key takeaway from our stay is: Swann House is THE perfect place to meet people, feeling part of the family and have a great location to all sites in D.C. Kevin and Sandra (and others of the team) are so nice and warm - we felt at home; just at a better location with nicer rooms ;-) Thanks to the team and we're happy to come back K & H

The location is very nice - close to Dupont Circle and the Phillips Collection. Three of us enjoyed our comfortable rooms and the continental breakfast. Uber drivers found us easily.

The Swann House is a lovely inn near DuPont Circle, a 10 minute walk to several Metro stops it was a perfect place to see all the sites in Washington DC! Our room was lovely, the inn keepers were warm and welcoming and there was a nice continental breakfast each morning. We will definitely come back!

Clean, comfortable, and quiet -- Swann House, centrally located for our needs, was our oasis of rest in this busy city! The Turret Room (Room 2) was perfect for our visit to DC. It’s small, but just right for travelers like us who needed a quiet room for rest and regeneration after spending the day visiting family and seeing the sights. The shower was fantastic! Leeann was very gracious and accommodating, and the extra pillows we requested for our stay were cloud soft and supportive. The complimentary continental breakfast was just right with a varied selection of grain and grain-free granolas, dry cereal, fresh fruit, delicious fresh baked goods, and hot coffee and teas. Refreshments were also available in the Common Area Coffee Nook 24/7, along with delightful Swann House short bread cookies for a snack. Swann House is across the street from the S Street dog park. If you enjoy the antics of dogs at play, this will provide all the entertainment you need from the comfort of your room (much better than anything on TV!). We look forward to staying at Swann House on our next trip to DC. I just hope we can get a reservation!

We had the most amazing time and can’t wait to plan another trip back to DC and stay at the Swann House! The staff was prompt and friendly reaching out before our arrival to confirm our check in time and give basic info and directions. The property is gorgeous and our room had beautiful modern decor but kept the historic touches and charm. The morning breakfast was terrific with a variety of delicious pastries, a bougie yogurt station and so much more. Definitely the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had! The location is ideal. So many things are walkable and Ubers are easy to get. We felt very safe. Most importantly, LeAnn was extremely kind in showing us to our room, and around the house and all of its amenities upon check in. We enjoyed chatting with her and the other guests in passing and during breakfasts. The Swann House is wonderful place to stay with modern features and historic charm!

Words cannot express what a hidden gem this is in Dupont Circle! Found this B and B 10 minutes from my apartment and has been the best place to escape and relax while having to work remotely. The innkeeper LeeAnn made me feel at home from the moment I called to book my room. She also makes a cute breakfast in the morning which was perfect before I had to start my virtual work which I could do from the beautiful sun room. `What is unique about this place is multiple rooms have these AWESOME double showers and jetted spa bathtubs!! Another perk was my room had a private balcony which was very cozy place to have breakfast or read my books there too. Originally, I had only booked 1 night but the beds were sooooooo comfortable I slept the entire first night here. I literally melted into the bed. LOL. The blankets are soooo soft and the ambiance made me feel like I was at home. Did I mention they have a library too?? Only found this place three weeks ago and have stayed here 2 times already! Highly thinking of making this my self-care habit monthly. Met some really nice families too who were vacationing and needed tourist tips. Book. This. Place. Now!

Gorgeous B&B in a great location! The service was impeccable, the house manager made us feel welcome and answered all questions over text. The interior of the house was stunning - I want to come back when the pool is open! Perfect (although basic) breakfast in the dining room with the other guests set us up for a great day of walking the mall. I was dying to see the decor of the other rooms after hearing other guests oohing and ahhing over theirs - we stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was lovely and comfortable. Would LOVE to return to Swann House!
