ザキントス島の2つ星ホテル

Just arrived home from a wonderful , quiet stay at Hera Hotel. Maria was a great host. Nikos and Dena, who ran the bar were lovely and the food was very good, thanks to Denas Mum. Room had everything we needed (fridge, kettle shower and bed), I don't do cooking on holiday. Location was great, short walk (20 mins) to the noise on the ***** and about 40 to the beach. Zakynthos town was walkable as was the big supermarket AB Βασιλόπουλος. €10 euros seems to be the rate for taxis. €10 from Zakynthos town, €10 from the *****, €10 to the airport etc. Lots of local supermarkets too. Kalamaki beach is very quiet but worth a visit, you can walk back to Laganas along the beach. The port at Zakynthos is lovely. Lots of very good restaurants too. Lots of amazing people while we were there. We will definately be back.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. MOST DISGUSTING AND UNHYGIENIC EXPERIENCE IVE HAD. Have been on many budget holidays and have never had such a poor experience starting off with hygiene. Dead and alive flies were found on all surfaces including areas where toothbrushes and soap was expected to of been kept . Silver fish bigs were found crawling in my luggage and around all the floors, had to throw away clothes and wash clothing a good few times to prevent any spread when returning. Aside from bugs floor was ridiculously sticky and dirty and when cleaned for 30 seconds the water seen on the bucket was filled with dirt, completely black.floor was so bad I had to keep shoes on at all times to avoid touching the floors. As of hygiene could not have been any worst, old blood was found on my 1 and shallow pillow. Bed sheets were asleep thin and dirty, resorted to using a sarong to keep myself warm at night.HOTEL IS IN NEED OF INSPECTION as a complete BIO HAZARD even after moving room a number of times. As if I could not have been worst new towels were given to us in the morning ti which vomit was found covered within them. Moving on to practicality. Door would not unlock properly, spent15 minutiae on each occasion trying to open doors with an old lock. Had to repeat to walking down to reception on most occasions to get doors open. Curtains were ripped and mirrors were disgusting. Toilet would also not flush on most occasions had to consistently have staff up to fix their disgusting and broken toilets. Location is okay but down dark ally’s to get to. Does not seem safe at night especially when drinking, would recommend staying at any of the other 100s of locations in the similar areas which would be almost satisfactory. Staff were completely rude. Not accommodations at all and did not seem interested in any of their isssues presented. Have never had such bad service. Also have to pay 50 euro deposit upon arrival to which I did not receive back until 4 weeks after leaving. This hotel is completely poor and should be shut down immediately.

メインの「*****」から離れたとても素敵な静かなホテル。私たちの部屋は広としていて清潔で、十分な収納スペースがありました。オーナーとスタッフはとても親切でフレンドリーです。朝食にはたくさんの選択肢があり、プールサイドのバーは手頃な価格で、食べ物は彼らは素晴らしいサービスを提供しています。彼らは午後9時まで食べ物を提供しています。これは、一日中外出していて、夕食に出かけたくない場合のボーナスです。私たちはホテルからメインの*****までゆっくりと歩き、正確には11分34秒かかりました。ホテルには十分な駐車場があります。唯一の非常にわずかなマイナス点は、忙しい日にプールの周りに十分なサンベッドがないことです。少し平和で静かなのが好きなら、ここに滞在することを強くお勧めします。

Lovely clean hotel. 5 mins from restaurants and shops but feels really peaceful and secluded. Rooms cleaned every day and staff were all really helpful. Pool never crowded even in peak season and sun beds really plush and comfortable and plenty of them. Good air conditioning , large fridge. Couldn’t fault the hotel for price. Kalamaki is a good base to explore the island. Beach is 10-15 mins walk - ok beach but there are far more beautiful beaches and coves on the island.

Just return from a wonderful short stay at Elenis Garden all the staff here are just amazing and cannot do enough for you to make your stay comfortable, carefree and memorable. It is run by a lovely family they all work extremely hard to make sure every need is met. Yannis is an amazing young man full of knowledge and always there at hand. His sister (sorry can’t remember her name) makes the best cappuccino and always has a smile on her face. The lunches are excellent with a wide range of options and a good price as are the drinks. We stayed in a junior suite which had everything you could need, very modern and comfortable. The shower is the best we have had in any hotel we have stayed in, in Greece and we have stayed in many including 5*. The swimming pool was big enough and a lovely haven from the hot weather while we were there and so peaceful. The sun beds were very comfortable and plentiful. We loved this place so much we booked to return again in September. We like to say a big “Thank You” to all the staff and look forward to seeing you again in 6 weeks 😁

Just got back from this hotel . Looks very nice from the outside . Very basic but I’ve been to loads of basic hotels that were loads better than this one . It’s in a great location just set behind the start of the ***** and about 10 mins if that to the beach . The rooms are ok. Only a couple of sockets so take an extension plug . Breakfast was terrible we only went in once over our stay . Snack bar food was nice especially Greek salad and milk shakes were lovely . No bar you just get your drinks from a fridge . Everything closed at around 9 at night . Safes are in reception so you need to make sure you have every thing you need or it will be closed . Plenty beds round the pool but no atmosphere at all . Really quiet . Nice clean pool though . The owner was a pleasant man . You have to pay for the fridge as an extra. The bathroom bin was emptied every day but the floor was never swept . There was a bug on the floor for days and we had to keep our flip flops on all the time as our feet would get dirty off the floor . It didn’t stop us have a great holiday though as we were out every night and will definitely go back to this resort just not this hotel .
