The room had everything I needed. As it was raining very hard when i arrived and everything was wet, i was very happy that i could turn on the heater. It was further from the trainstation than i expected, and also a good walk from the centre. Very quiet room.
Our stay was fine. Staff polite. Food on site was ok. Wanted to store our luggage before able to check in but the area available had a shutter door which didn’t lock.
Some rooms over look boarding kennels. Nothing in the area apart from URBNSURF great place to have food and watch the surfing. Three little Ducks food excellent definitely recommend here .
We stayed one night at the Sandpiper Motel in Apollo Bay during peak season. On the positive side, the room was exceptionally clean, and the embroidered details on the bedding, pillow slips, and face towel were a lovely touch that added a sense of care and thoughtfulness to the decor.
However, our stay was not without its issues. Room 5; Throughout the night, there was a persistent high-pitched noise whenever water was used in our block of rooms, which disrupted our sleep, not helpful if you are a light sleeper. This was particularly disappointing given the cost of over 500 NZD for one night.
Additionally, while the self-check-in process was efficient, the lack of any staff presence left the motel feeling impersonal and made it impossible to seek assistance when needed. For example, there was no way to address the plumbing issue or request additional items like more face towels during our stay.
While we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room design, these other factors made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
There was a communication breakdown from Devine escape. The hotel is supposed to send me an sms prior to my check-in, however despite my email, and calls, I did not receive any updates from them.
Only upon arrival at the hotel, we can’t find any ways to call the receptionist. Luckily, the caretaker saw us and help us with the check in process. However, there was no apology from the hotel. So that was a bit disappointing.
Room was really spacious and kitchen came with basic seasoning namely salt and pepper. There were tons of cockatoos on the porch in the morning so it can be a bit noisy but most people would usually be up by then so it should be fine.
I had a really wonderful time in the great location of Beechworth. From Beechworth I drove to other great points of interest namely Yackandandah and Bright. I walked along the Canyon Walk in Bright, followed along the Beechworth Gorge and the Woolshed Falls.
The Sambell Lake had a very good walking track around it. Both Beechworth and Yackandandah had great shops and eateries. The Armour Motor Inn was very central for my 3 day stay and the host was very helpful.
KKam Ning CheungThe service is very good and the location is nearby Ballarat Station. It takes about 20 walks to Sovereign Hill. And there are too many restaurants next to there, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant .
ゲゲストWe have stayed here a number of times, however this stay was the worst ever.
We had an early flight/early start.
The noise from the room next door & upstairs was horrendous all night, people talking loudly, clamping up & down stairs, drop items on floor, this all sounded like it was in our room, needless to say we didn't get much/any sleep.
Then when leaving at 6am, there was a car parked in a noncarpark space, which made it extremely difficult to get our car out, there were people outside at this car, but didn't offer to move the car.
Very disappointed they we spent money to get a good night sleep before our early flight.
TTrevarFrom the outside, this motel looks especially dingy and neglected, but the rooms aren't bad. It's perfectly clean and has all the features you'd expect of an ordinary motel in any Australian town. Perfectly adequate, and appropriately priced.
ゲゲストI had a great stay at Best Western Crystal Inn. At first, I was told check-in was only after 2pm, but later the staff kindly called me and said I could check in early. That was very helpful!
There is free parking on the ground floor, and my room was on the first floor, so it was quiet with no noise from cars. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute drive to the City Centre.
The room was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was especially large and clean. Thank you to the friendly staff for the good service!
