This hotel is genuinely one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve visited several times now, and every stay has been consistently wonderful. The service is always friendly, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere just makes you feel relaxed and taken care of.
I recommend this place to everyone — friends, family, coworkers — because I know they’ll love it just as much as I do. I’ll definitely be back again in the future. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. You won’t regret it!
The location of this hotel is central, it’s a 5min walk to the community center where they host a show at 8pm, it’s a 5min walk to the main lookout spot for the village.
The couple running this hotel is super friendly and informative. They offered complimentary rides to and from the high speed rail station so we didn’t have to take 2 busses to get to the village. One of the owners can even communicate in english.
Our room was impeccably clean and, importantly, completely free of any smoke odor. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting this village.
Nice hotel, good service and a clean comfortable quiet room. The location could be a little better if in an area with more close shopping but getting a Didi to get around wasn't a problem. If going on a return trip to Kali we would likely stay here again.
Overall the room is spacious with double glazed window so sound outside cannot be heard. But noises from the bathroom are not insulated, so is a bit of disturbance at night.
Common area is not well ventilated. Reception smokes a lot and not friendly.
JJohn Charles ChasteenThe Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh,and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!
PP A...Nice view. Check-in desk is located after 2flights of steep stairs. No elevators in the premise. Contacted the House to arrange someone to help with the luggages at the transportation interchange point, as one of our travel partner had both injured legs, they refused. Only willing to help to carry some of our baggages at the destination near to House drop-off point.

From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was a dream come true.
But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected.
If you’re looking for a place that combines an unbeatable location, glorious mountain views, and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel run by Rose is absolutely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!
LLisa P BI felt so welcomed and comfortable at this boutique hotel in ancient Xaisi. I understood that this hotel was in an older part of Kaili. On further exploration I found it to be in an extremely historic an ancient village of Xiasi that spanned many dynasties. Within walking distance to can find architecture that represents Qing and other dynasties . Xiasi’s streets reveal layers of history where Han, Miao, and merchant cultures converge. Stone streets, wooden covered bridges, decorated eaves, bell towers, and imperial and domestic courtyards reflect exquisite craftsmanship. My room overlooked the Qingjiang River. It was beautiful appointments with indigo fabric details. I especially liked the Chinese red chair. My room also have a spacious balcony. The owner took care of me like I was her daughter. It was so sweet. The central courtyard of the hotel is a lush garden. I loved exploring Xiasi during the quiet off-season. Its enchanting alleyways and ancient architecture is extraordinary. It’s especially romantic as evenings falls and this historic village is lit by red lanterns. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to returning.
ゲゲストWithout a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Its prime location in the Center of the village with a wonderful view on the old houses , and the rooms are impeccably clean. The service is amazing , drinks at the entry, wash clothes, breakfast … everything is really perfect but what truly stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff.
They helped organize everything and provided a breakfast box as I was I left too early in the morning. I totally recommend this place and this village has been definitely one of the main highlights of my 20 days trip in china :)
