This location is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room is about what you would expect for a budget hotel except it is in need of serious upgrades. There was a huge hole in the wall of our room and numerous things needed to be fixed and repaired (cosmetic). The bed was clean and comfortable except for the pillows which were too bulky to sleep on. I used a towel for a pillow. Also there was a very loud vehicle running outside (sounded like a generator) until midnight. Not that this is the hotel’s fault but just shows the type of clientele. There weren’t very many vehicles there when we stayed. There are 3 other hotels in the same area (Wyngate, Comfort Inn, and one other that I can’t remember.)
Great location. Comfort room and nice bed.
Staff very well coming and helpful.
Near so many restaurants and shopping center.
Strongly recommend Hilton garden Richmond.
As we checked in, we were told that the hotel was having problems with the system that activate the keys for the room door and that if we played around with the key at our hotel room door that it would eventually work. We tried getting into our room for over 20 minutes and couldn't. Went back to the desk and this time she was able to activate the key because it let us in this time. Then, it says on the door of the pool ( in which our room was directly in front of) that the pool closes at 10pm. We'll, at 1am people were still in the pool and the children were screaming like crazy. We didn't get rest at all. We would never stay here again
We booked here for a concert at George Mason University. It was very close and easy to get to the event. The breakfast is very good. Many choices: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, a variety of dry cereal, fresh fruits, pastries, bagels, toast, waffles, coffee, tea, juices and milk and plenty of condiments. Easy to find places to eat close by. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Plenty of parking and excellence breakfast. Value for money and room is big and clean. Quality brand hotels are always value for money and good service and facility too
ゲゲストWe spent the weekend in Wytheville to go to the FPHL Blue Ridge Bobcats play hockey against the Pee Dee IceCats. The location from the hotel to the Hitachi arena was excellent. We will be back on the 27th and the 28th!
Thanks for treating us and the team so well!
ゲゲストI was taking a shower and grabbed a towel these onject were inside the towel folded up. When I told the lady downstairs named Amanda she apologized and gave us immediately 25% off but we have to call *********** to have them call us about the discount. It was sharp object and one of us could of cut ourselves on that sharp object. About that the service and free food was excellent
BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatBE AWARE: they told me at checkout yesterday that I’d get my $50 deposit back by the evening. Then they said in 3 days. Now they’re saying in 5 days. Still showing that I was charged on my credit card app… So we’ll see if I get that back!
About our stay: If you’re brave and on a budget, you’ll be fine here. But if you’re big on cleanliness and safety then skip this location.
Random crap on the carpet. Shower handles leak all over the floor, and there’s rust all over the ceiling and stuff shoved into gaps to prevent leaks.
The door isn’t secure at all, and the latch chain could just be ripped off if someone pushed hard on the door.
Blood stains (or at least what appeared to be) on the curtain, which also had a massive rip in it.
PROS: no bedbugs and we definitely felt safe there. If in a pinch, we’d stay again because it was cheap (IF I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK, that is. Otherwise it’s not cheap) People at the hotel were friendly, I just hope they’re not lying about giving my deposit back 😂
Breakfast was cereals, breads, gravy, eggs and sausage, and a waffle maker. Nothing seemed fresh, we didn’t really eat much.
Again, if you want cheap, it’s safe enough and does the job. If you want a refreshing stay, look elsewhere.
MMaxwell1492After crossing the luminous metro area of Richmond, I arrived at this beautiful hotel.
It is located in a tranquil neighborhood, away from the noise of the city, yet still close to restaurants and shops. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and well-lit, giving me a good first impression.
The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable.
When I woke up the next morning, I was showered in the bright sunshine. The large window filled the room with natural light, which made the start of the day refreshing.
Breakfast was served downstairs, offering the typical Hampton Inn options—eggs, sausages, waffles, cereals, and fresh fruit. It was simple but satisfying.
Overall, it was a pleasant one-night stay, and I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful environment near Richmond.
ゲゲストThis is a lovely hotel! It's classy and elegant, and overall it'll make your vacation that much more special. The location is great, as you can walk to restaurants or other places in Luray. The Luray Caverns are a quick drive away, as is a Walmart and Food Lion, and Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap Entrance is close by. I ate at the Circa '31 restaurant for breakfast, which was reasonably priced (the menu is small with a few standard breakfast options). Free coffee and muffins in the lobby at all times. The Speakeasy restaurant is very good, and has various specials/deals each night. The bedrooms are small, but comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, with an area for bonfires and hammocks, as well as a pool and hot tub area. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
A few recommendations for the management:
~Put mini fridges in the rooms
~Put chairs on the balcony so people can use it as a sitting area
~Something to provide more counter space in the bathrooms
I recommend the Mimslyn Inn to anyone staying in the Luray area!
