The park by the moat boasts itself with thousands of cherry blossom trees blooming in early April, attracting large numbers of visitors every year. There are even illumination at night for those who wish to enjoy cherry blossoms after a busy day at work.

到千鸟之渊可以体验夜樱绝景。在东京欣赏夜樱，位在九段下，皇居西边的千鸟ヶ渊（千鸟之渊)，春天到了整条河道沿岸开满樱花，夜樱更是一绝。

从东京站出发，往九段下的方向走向千鸟之渊，沿著皇城走，漫步在樱花似锦的道路，左边是护城河，眼前则是随风飘落的樱花瓣。这满天飞的粉，也似乎点亮因为疫情所带来的灰暗。春天来了。

Beautiful place! I visited here on sakura season this year but it was extremely crowded hence didnt do the boat ride. The boats can be hired for 500 yen for 30 minutes and 1000 yen for an hour ride in either a cycle boat or a row boat with a maxmimum capacity of 3 person in eqch boat. It is now Autumn but it still looks so beautiful! Highly recommend this park. Please be informed that you cannot do boat rides on December, January and February. It is open the rest of the days.

Easy to reach by subway! Just get yourself to Kudanshita station (S05, Z06,T07) and you reach your destination ;) There were full of sakura trees along the river and a huge park for leisure, picnic etc.

Chidorigafuchi area in Kitanomaru Park (which borders the Imperial Palace on the north side) is a great place to view cherry blossoms in early April (one of the best in Tokyo). You can rent a boat on the moat and enjoy the flowering trees from the water. It’s a beautiful place for walking, even when the cherries are not blooming.

This pleasant section of the moat is great for cherry blossom viewing and is also home to a boat house where you can rent row boats and paddle boats.
