The whole scenic area consists of more than ten peaks, such as Dinghu, Sanbao, Fenglai, chicken cage, Fuhu, Qingshi, Shiziling, etc. The main peak of Jilang Mountain is 1000.8 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in the Pearl River Delta. Dinghu Mountain is the first of the four famous mountains in Lingnan, 18 kilometers northeast of Zhaoqing City. Because most of the places where the Tropic of Cancer passes through are desert or steppe, Dinghu Mountain is also known as "emerald on the Tropic of Cancer" by Chinese and foreign scholars, and together with Danxia Mountain, Luofu Mountain and Xiqiao Mountain, it is called "four famous mountains in Guangdong Province". This is the first nature reserve established after the founding of New China and the only oasis on the Tropic of Cancer. Especially in the primitive forest oxygen product area, in December 1998, the highest negative ion content in Dinghu Mountain was 105600/cubic centimeter, which was determined by Forest Tourism Research Center of Central South Forestry College.
