Grateful to the male counter staff who kindly lend his mobile number for online food ordering. Would be good if bathrobes were provided and quite disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Overall, the stay was good but will consider other hotels next time
I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the hotel. I only speak English, so all the staff was very patient with me. For any English speakers like me that stay here, just ask for Lily. She is fluent in English and can help you with anything during your stay. Ganzhou is smaller than a city like Shanghai, but I would recommend it if you want to save some money.

The hotel has a great location and its own parking lot, making it convenient for drivers to directly enter the parking lot for pick-up and taxi services.。
The cheapest king size room is really a bit small. It is recommended to book a larger room with luggage, otherwise there will be no place to open the luggage。
The front desk is very friendly and the room is quite clean. Although it faces the street, closing the window doesn't make much noise at night
Our stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe.
I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.
This is my second time staying at this hotel on this trip (two days away at Wangxiangu). The first time I had a bad experience. Because there are not many foreigners who stay at this hotel, they knew that the bad review was from me. The hotel manager personally came to apologize for the bad experience and offered me a small gift. It was very nice, but it will not affect my review. Every problem that I had last time was gone. The only thing that I thought was very strange is that I booked the same kind of room as last time, but for some reason this room did not have a desk in it. Finally, the front desk staff had a note in English and Chinese asking about my stay and making sure that I was happy. I suggest that it becomes a staff rule to ask all customers (both Chinese snd foreigners) about their stay to make sure that everyone is happy, and any problems, big or small, that do happen can be quickly fixed for the next people who stay.
MMateja BokanThis was a very weird hotel experience. Firstly, the staff is great and were very responsive to any issues I had. That being said, the hotel has seen better days. I changed rooms, but both rooms had very dirty carpets and bathrooms which had traces of molding on the silicone connections, and the windows were, in my opinion, small. The showers were clean, but the hairs were not removed for a long time, and the water drained very slowly. During my stay, I even saw a small gecko run across the bathroom... The AC unit is terribly loud too, and I couldn't sleep the first night almost at all because of it. I later got used to it, but it still gave me troubles during nighttime. On the third day, around 8:25, the cleaning staff barged into the room unannounced. Even though I was awake, this created an awkward experience... Later, when they came again, they only quickly knocked before coming inside again... The hotel's breakfast is minimal, and poorly prepared. I'd recommend skipping it, and getting something from the street in front of the hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good, being only a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to the Mount Longhu scenic area entrance.
The hotel has a nice interior with modern chinesr vibes, the property is massive, the room and property are clean, also excellent service from the get go. When I arrived I was greeted by the hotel staff 陈红桃 and he was friendly and attentively carry our luggage and handled it very well to our rooms. We were also picked up and helped by him on our check out, excellent hospitality. There are gold carts that can take you around the property and 外卖 can also go into the property which makes ordering food in so convinient!
Easy check in and out. Friendly staff. We had a room with a balcony with excellent view facing JiuJiang. The breakfast is okay with all chinese items. It would be nice if they serve real coffee at breakfast instead of coffee like drink.
