Our apartment has a private garden with palm trees, table and chairs around your private pool, where you can have your breakfast , drink your morning coffee or just sit back and relax on the sun beds.The kitchens are fully equipped : there is a big fridge with freezer, stove with owen all along with all the useful kitchenware for cooking any local dishes with our private chef or cool your Belikin beer in the fridge.Your journey probably will start in Belize city, from there you will have two options to get here. The first one is the short flight from Belize to San Pedro it’s takes 15 minutes, trust me it’s worth every penny of it. The Tropic airlines has small planes maximum of 15 person, on the way you will be able to check out the islands around San Pedro and also the amazing view of the sea, it is breathtaking. Once you landed you can reach the apartment by foot( golf cart and taxi is also available and upon requests can be organized for you) in about 10 minutes.The second option to get here is with water taxi, they start to operate 6am-8pm and the boats comes to San Pedro in every hour. The costs for that is 7 USD , the journey takes 1,5 hour. If you choose this option you will have a chance to meet the locals at the ship, get their coulture know a little bit, here their amazing stories about San Pedro, and you will get a really close look to the sealife. Once you reached the island you can walk to the apartment by foot (if you haven’t got to many luggage’s , if you are the best way might be to rent a golf car or get a cab) in about 4 minutes.Once you arrived, you will feel the atmosphere straight away, and i’m sure you will feel for it. The locals are super helpful friendly and English-speaking, they here for you to make your holiday more amazing. San pedro have their own money which is Belizean dollar but they accept USD too 1USD=2 belizean dollars.When you get the area know a little better, it’s a time for you to go for a little adventure’s. The locals are organize a lot of amazing tours: you can go fishing where you can taste the most fresh fishes you ever tested in your life, if you brave enough you can try to swim with sharks(tiger sharks, they not dangerous for humans at all) , you can go and see the Maya ruins( the amazing Mayan temples in the jungle). Casa Layla is a custom built luxury home. It is located beachfront, approximately 5.5 miles north of San Pedro town on Ambergris Caye in the exclusive Playa Blanca neighborhood. The main house includes three bedrooms as well as 2.5 baths and there is also a suite, which is the fourth bedroom, and includes a full bath. All main house bedrooms have their own private balcony with amazing views. The main house as well as the suite are included in your rental of Casa Layla. The suite is located on the living level of the house and has its own entrance just off the kitchen and the other three bedrooms are located on the second floor of the home.The property includes a 300 foot dock with chaise lounge seating, an outdoor kitchen, and an infinity pool complete with a swim-up bar. There is also ample outdoor seating for dining and lounging. The kitchen has all of the tools you will need to prepare a great meal and opens up into a large dining room and living area complete with a wet bar. For those guests who don't want to cook on vacation and who would like to try some amazing meals, we encourage you to try Chef Dan’s catering/delivery services. Chef Dan is located in the neighborhood and cooks family style, delicious local food. Please provide Brittany with 24 hour notice and she will put your request in. Chef Maria and her crew offer in home cooking services. Brittany will provide you her menu upon booking. Please reserve your dates/times for Maria with ample notice. Meals are family style. Casa Layla is a short walk down the beach from some GREAT dining options including Portofino to the north and Sun Deck, Mata Chica, and Tropical Escape to the south. Additionally, Winey Gringa is a great little grocery/coffee shop just south on the road. They have coffee, pastries, pizzas (to take and bake) and a few other prepared items. Look out for Jose, the burrito and tamale guy! He rides his bike up the beach each morning and has great breakfast options! Our caretaker lives on site and takes care of property maintenance and landscaping. Our team is here to ensure that your stay is one for the record books!Rate is for up to 8 guests. Each guest over 8 and up to 14 will be an additional $50 per night per person charge plus tax.
