The Haji & Ali Mosque can only be used at low tide in the southern Gulf of Mumbai. The road to Dalgar is a unique experience in itself, nearly 500 metres from the coast, when the sea is submerged at high tide. The mosque itself is beautiful, but the area near the entrance is a bit of garbage.

Like a small island in the sea, the long trestle road leading to the mosque along with the ebb and flow of the sea will be submerged, and the submerged period will take 5-5.5 hours to retreat.

Although there are not many Islamic beliefs in India, the mosques here are very distinctive. The onion-like shape of the roof is the hallmark of the mosque, because we are not Muslims, we can only look outside at the inside of the mosque.

I have been to two modern mosques in Malacca and Kota Kinabalu. This is the third more ancient, small-scale, but distinctive. And along the way, Indian Muslims worship. There is also Ali's graveyard here, very quiet.
