「Beautiful and cozy apartment in the heart of Verona, just two steps away from the Arena di Verona. It features a large bathroom, and the room is clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you need. The host is very attentive and the check-in process was simple and easy. Highly recommended!」
匿匿名ユーザーThe location was great, only about an 8-minute walk from the train station. However, the entrance was a bit tricky to find at first, as it’s located at the back of a café and the rooms are on the upper floor. There’s no physical reception, but the management contacted me via WhatsApp with clear instructions. I completed check-in and paid the tourist tax online. Otherwise, I would’ve had to check in at their partner hotel, Antico Doge.
Once I arrived, they sent me the entrance and room passcodes via WhatsApp. The room itself was brilliant for a solo traveller: clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. I appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, toiletries, and the mini fridge. The air conditioning felt a little weak, and there was a note on the remote not to change the settings, so I wasn’t sure how to adjust it.
After checking out, I was able to store my luggage at Hotel Antico Doge for free while I explored Venice a bit more before catching my next train. Overall, a pleasant and efficient stay.
SSunnyfurlifeAllegro Marin is situated next to the train station. Though it maybe convenient if you are planning to travel elsewhere by train, you cannot avoid dragging your luggage across a bridge, unless you hire a luggage porter. The attractions are quite far away if you don’t travel by ferry, at least 20 minutes walk away.
Other than my thoughts on location, I find the hotel staff friendly and hospitable. When having breakfast, I only need to find my table and be seated. It came with complimentary freshly made bacon and eggs and a charcuterie board! No complaint about the service.
ゲゲストWhile the accommodation was fine the checking in process left a bit to be desired. We booked the Cannaregio II Apartments but actually stayed at the Venice Apartments. I don’t know if we ended up in a better standard of accommodation but it was closer to restaurants, etc. Notwithstanding it wasn’t the accommodation we thought we were booking and as a result I left my travelling companion at the wrong location while I checked us in and we had to walk further than was needed. I also felt like I got a bit of attitude from the reception staff when I was checking in.
DD Lux TravelsThe place is nearby a Vaporetto (water bus) station. However, it is not that close to the town centre and the action. the journey to the Rialto bridge area will take probably 15-20 minutes. Before checking in, communication with the apartment owner is required in order to receive the password to enter the main door. Stay was alright. Although the room condition is a bit old, it is functional and the toilet is good.
