The location was great, only about an 8-minute walk from the train station. However, the entrance was a bit tricky to find at first, as it’s located at the back of a café and the rooms are on the upper floor. There’s no physical reception, but the management contacted me via WhatsApp with clear instructions. I completed check-in and paid the tourist tax online. Otherwise, I would’ve had to check in at their partner hotel, Antico Doge.
Once I arrived, they sent me the entrance and room passcodes via WhatsApp. The room itself was brilliant for a solo traveller: clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. I appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, toiletries, and the mini fridge. The air conditioning felt a little weak, and there was a note on the remote not to change the settings, so I wasn’t sure how to adjust it.
After checking out, I was able to store my luggage at Hotel Antico Doge for free while I explored Venice a bit more before catching my next train. Overall, a pleasant and efficient stay.
The place is nearby a Vaporetto (water bus) station. However, it is not that close to the town centre and the action. the journey to the Rialto bridge area will take probably 15-20 minutes. Before checking in, communication with the apartment owner is required in order to receive the password to enter the main door. Stay was alright. Although the room condition is a bit old, it is functional and the toilet is good.

YYiu ManThe hotel is around 10-15mins from St Marco Square and 25mins from train station but there are still lots of good restaurants and grocery stores.
The hotel has its private pier which allows water taxi to disembark which is extremely convenient especially if you have heavy luggage and don’t want to go up and down many bridges to your hotel.
The room size is gigantic with super high ceiling, making the stay super comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipment and provide free drinks and snacks (refilled for free). Staffs are very helpful and nice. They helped me book the water taxi to/from airport. Definitely value for money. I will surely book the same next time I stay in Venice:
JJasmineThe location is good. Room is big with scented woods smell. But no lift. Have to cross the bridge with heavy luggage too from train station. We have nice welcome drinks from the fridge daily with beer and juice. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful to give us information about the city.
ゲゲストWhile the accommodation was fine the checking in process left a bit to be desired. We booked the Cannaregio II Apartments but actually stayed at the Venice Apartments. I don’t know if we ended up in a better standard of accommodation but it was closer to restaurants, etc. Notwithstanding it wasn’t the accommodation we thought we were booking and as a result I left my travelling companion at the wrong location while I checked us in and we had to walk further than was needed. I also felt like I got a bit of attitude from the reception staff when I was checking in.
