We had an outstanding stay at this hotel. We stayed in a double room with Mountain View and the room was packed with lots of water and toiletries! They also gave us free fruit on the first day. All the staff from the house cleaners, front desk clerks, ski pass clerks, to the boys at the ski rental equipment desk were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a large assortment and an omelette station, yum! The gym was really nice and large but only had one yoga mat. The pool area was good but the small heated pool was rather luke warm. Best thing was this was a ski in and ski out hotel we didn’t have to leave it everything we needed to rent and do was right here! Also the Chinese restaurant on the top floor was SO delicious and staff again were so nice! Definitely coming back here for our yearly ski trips

**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

My wife and I had an absolutely perfect, unforgettable stay at NOA RESORT & WELLNESS Aranya — a true hidden gem on China’s Gold Coast . We booked the Hall room (40m²) on the fourth floor (the hotel’s top level), and it could not have been more ideal: bright, quiet, with sleek modern minimalist design, floor-to-ceiling windows, and thoughtful touches like full smart controls, blackout sleep mode, and premium bedding that ensured deep, restful sleep. From arrival, the warmth and professionalism were outstanding: we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks, and the 24/7 complimentary shuttle service made exploring Aranya effortless — prompt, courteous drivers took us anywhere in the resort (Chapel, Lonely Library, beaches, cafes) in minutes. The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, anticipating every need and responding instantly to requests. The resort itself is a masterpiece of restrained luxury and healing design . Standout highlights include: - DECK (Lobby Lounge): A chic, all-day social hub — by day a specialty coffee shop; by night a craft beer bar with 12 rotating taps, plus light meals and occasional mini talks or live performances. - Outdoor Pool & Poolside Bar: A serene, sunlit pool with comfortable cabanas and umbrellas, perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day of exploring. - Spa & Wellness: A tranquil spa offering professional massages, singing bowl therapy, and meditation sessions — ideal for unwinding and reconnecting. - Fitness Center: A bright, well-equipped gym with modern equipment for keeping up your routine. - Dining: PopChuan Restaurant serves elevated, light Sichuan cuisine by a master chef, plus fresh, balanced breakfasts with local ingredients. Location-wise, NOA is unbeatable: close to Aranya Chapel, Lonely Library, and the beach, yet peacefully secluded. The entire property feels like a calm, artistic sanctuary — stylish but never cold, luxurious but never pretentious . In short, this was one of our best couple getaways ever. NOA RESORT Aranya blends stunning design, exceptional service, top-tier amenities, and a serene vibe that makes you feel relaxed and pampered from start to finish. We highly recommend it to any couple seeking a peaceful, upscale escape in Aranya — we will absolutely be back!

PROS: Friendly staff. Even though not many speak English, they really try to solve any issues that arise. Lily, one of the hotel staff members, spoke excellent English and assisted us on several occasions. Billiards room — free. Laundromat on the −1st floor — free. You can buy detergent in the convenience store on the same floor. Good breakfast, but Chinese food only. You can also have lunch and dinner in the same restaurant for an extra charge. Other restaurants in the hotel: Hotpot, Hunan cuisine, Yunnan cuisine. McDonald’s right outside (huge lunch lines, though). Gym on the 10th floor. Prince Hotel near the 22nd lift offers additional dining options. Yunting Hotel on the right also has options, plus a Burberry store and a coffee shop with good coffee, desserts, and even mulled wine. Ski-in / ski-out hotel. You can use the magic carpet to go to Genting (Yunting) Resort on the right and take a gondola to the top, or ski down to the left and take the 22nd chairlift — very convenient. Wanlong Resort is connected to Yunting; if you spend 78 RMB or more at Wanlong, you get free passage back. Thaiwoo Resort is about 10 minutes away by Didi. Fulong Resort is about 25 minutes away. A brand-new resort, Xue Ruyi, is also about 10 minutes away. The room has a bathtub — not very big, but cozy. Smart Toto toilet. Small but convenient shower. Plenty of space for luggage. Riding gear can be stored on the 1st or 2nd floor. CONS (minor): Dark bathroom. The room was very hot, even when it was −20°C outside. We had to open the window. The heated floors are very effective, but there’s no way to adjust them, even though there is a controller next to the switches in the corridor. Definitely bring shorts and tank tops for the room.

チェックイン：12分ほど並び、チェックイン当日は満室で人が多かったので無事チェックインできました。 環境: 建物全体にエアコンが完備されており、場所を見つけるのは簡単です。 設備: ホテルはそれほど大きくありませんが、ジム、スイミングプール、ビデオゲームエリア、3 軒のレストラン、ロビーバーなど、必要なものはすべて揃っています。屋外の遊び場では、ホテルの自転車料金が 98/時間で、他のホテルではほとんどが無料なので、とても高いと思いましたが、ホテルを出てから、玄関で 98/時間であることがわかりました。とてもよかったです。ゴーカート、自転車、電車は有料のものが多いですが、無料だとゲストが多くて混雑することは想像できますが、子供向けのアクティビティはあまりありません。小さなお子様には十分です。 サービス: ドアマンからフロントデスク、エグゼクティブラウンジに至るまで、サービスは非常に優れています。朝食時のサービススタッフの中にはあまり積極的ではない人もいますが、問題ありません。 23階の朝食は量は少ないかもしれませんが、下に降りて並ばずにアラカルトを注文できるので、景色が素晴らしく、終日コーヒーブレイクサービスが嬉しいです。 ２階の中華料理店もおいしくて、最近よく食べています。 すぐにビーチがあり、ホテルのルームカードをかざすだけで入場できる特別な足洗いプールがあります。 全体として、私に割り当てられた部屋はエレベーターに近く、とても便利でした。お子様連れの旅行に適しています。

フロントデスクのマネージャーから客室スタッフまで、ホテルのサービスは非常に良かったです。 チェックイン時にキングサイズのベッドが満室だったため、事前にスイートにアップグレードしてもらいました。部屋は広くて日当たりがよかったです。 👍🏻 チェックアウトの際、またもやブレスレットを部屋に落としてしまい、もう見つからないだろうと思いましたが、ホテル側はすぐに返信し、ブレスレットを見つけたと返送してくれました。感動して涙が出ました！ ！戻ってきてとても嬉しいです。 ホテルの設備は非常に充実しており、ジムは非常に大きく、プールはすぐ隣にあり、ホテル内には多くのビジネス施設があります。スキーシーズン中は、Heytea、スターバックス、Hotpot、Wolfgang が出店します。その他の時間帯には、ホテル独自のレストランもご利用いただけます。青龍四川料理は美味しいし、芝生も最高です！

ウェルカムフルーツですが、あまり真剣に考えないでください。小さな金柑は皮付きのまま置かれているので、剥くのが大変です。チェリートマトを入れてもいいかもしれません。水、多くのホテルでは無制限の水を提供しています。またはオンデマンドでご利用いただけます。こちらは1日2本のみです。他の飲み物はありません。ティーバッグでも別料金がかかります。水や果物などが買えないわけではありません。主に他のホテルとの比較です。細かい部分ではまだまだ改善の余地がありそうな気がします！まあ、ホテルの環境や景色はまあまあです。駐車スペースも十分にあります。住宅価格も比較的手頃です。そう考えると、旅の途中で休憩するのもアリですね！

I spent three nights at the hotel 15th April to 18th. When I checked into the room the temperature in room was 28C. I set the thermostat at 22C but no change. I opened the window and somehow it became bearable. Next day same story but on third day when I got to room the temperature was 30C. It will not cool down.  I got to know from the staff that the hotel has turned off the cooling function. They do not provide any environment control. The staff offered me to change the room but the other room also did not had a working AC. I failed to understand how come can a hotel management make such an inhuman decision. This is pure shame to the intercontinental brand - I am sure if it was in USA the property will be closed by the city official till they fix the issues. I guess stay away from the hotel if a good night is your requirement.  The housekeeping and the front staff was very helpful but they could not do anything besides saying sorry. They tried to offer me a gift which I could not accept.  Based on my experience I will not recommend this hotel as they can shut down any service without any regard to the guest experience or comfort. I guess their bottom line is more important !!!

There were good things and bad things for this weekend trip. The bad things did not ruin the trip and we still have a great time. First, the parking here is so horrible. We drove around a few times to find a spot to oark. We couldn’t drive up to check-in. The parking garage was full and asking the guard about where to park he said the lot and garage were at capacity. We arrived well after the checkin time but our room was not ready and were still being cleaned. It took 4 people to check us in but they eventually got it sorted but this was an issue that was not in their control. They made the process very smooth and stored our luggage as we waited in the lobby. They have Starbucks” in the lobby and we waited for the rooms. The rooms were amazing and had that old world few feel to them. The beds were comfortable and the suites were very spacious. We had both a 1 bedroom suite and an executive suite. The breakfast did not live up to expectations they were slow to refill juices and left with a feeling of being mediocre. Steamed buns were soggy. We ordered food from Delivery and ate dinner out.

I really liked the hotel my brother enjoyed the pool nice view and alot of amenities the service is good the staff are not so friendly but not mean they do there job and that’s it
