Little bit out of the main city centre - quite a steep walk back up from the centre but OK. Receptionist says she always gets a taxi up but we did it Ok. Bit of a maze inside - trying to remember where your room is but on the whole lovely building - good facilities and nice room with large bathroom. Some rooms have great views of the Menai Straight and Anglesey.

We had a fabulous stay at The Fanny Talbot, the rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were very stylish and served the most wonderful food and drinks. We came to celebrate my mother’s birthday, everything was amazing and great value for money. We also went to Portmerion nearby and that was lovely too.

This was our second visit this summer. We had our granddaughter with us in July, just the two of us this visit. We stayed in a  suite this time. The sea view was amazing.  Everything was clean, the bed was big and comfortable. We stayed for three nights and pre booked breakfast which was great The train station (Penhelig) is just across the road. We caught the train into Barmouth one day and Aberystwyth another. We will be back for another visit

Convenient to reach Beddgelert by car and rooms are scenic, but most rooms require climbing stairs, so it can be a bit difficult with luggage. Heater was centralized and one room had a portable fan and another had portable heater so there may be some difficulties in controlling the temperature in the room.

Great service, friendly staff. Comfortable beds, spacious room. Excellent bathroom,Lovely breakfast Wardrobe needs new lock(room 302) Great staff Dog friendly Would stay again as great location Nice evening meal

A beautiful location. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food and good children’s menu at the hall. The children enjoyed the playground and safe environment.
