カンガルー アイランド コースタル ヴィラズ(Kangaroo Island Coastal Villas)

We booked a stay for 3 nights but we stayed here for 20 minutes. The acco wasn't cleaned properly and there was a very small amount of kitchen gear, while it should be self contained cabin, but we disagree about that. There is also no WIFI, which is very strange today. The cabin doesn't look appealing, it made as feel sad, so we wanted to leave. On another location should be the reception, so we went there, but no reception and nobody there. Also not possible to phone somebody. But this was not the worst. We went to another place and enjoyed it very much. We already paid for the first night but we were, after we left, also charged for the other night9s). We mailed with them but refund was not possible. I had to contact my bank to get a refund. I never place a review but I wanted to make time to say to people, don't go to this place.

Terrible service. When we arrived, rang the number to gain access to the cabin, reception told us that the property manager would ring us back with the details. After an hour of waiting we rang again to be told the same thing, still no answer from the manager. The only reason we managed to get access to our cabin was because the cleaner was there getting it ready and she let us in, which is not part of her job. We never received a call from the manager

Hier willen we nooit meer heen. We hadden bewust een cabine geboekt om zelf te koken zodat we niet steeds uit eten hoefden. De keuken bevatte helaas niet de apparatuur hiervoor. We zouden hooguit een blik soep op kunnen warmen. Wij verstaan toch echt niets anders onder zelf voorzienend. Verder was het er vies; keuken en koelkast waren van binnen en van buiten verre van schoon. De airco werkte niet goed. We zijn daarom vertrokken en konden gelukkig zo vla voor kerst nog iets anders vinden. We zijn nog steeds in discussie over de kosten, alle drie de nachten zijn in rekening gebracht en dat is niet volgens de voorwaarden. De communicatie voordat we naar Australie kwamen was ok, maar op de dag van aankomst bleek de gastvrouw er niet te zijn en niet bereikbaar en werden wij naar een receptie gestuurd die er niet bleek te zijn (een half uur lopen op het heetst van de dag). Een vreselijke ervaring.

Not where I would return to stay. The reception was hard to find. Couldn't get through their landline , and Kim's mobile was never been answered, just texted back after a while. Not responsive to their customers. We booked two cabins. One wasn't ready while we arrived. One cook stove, one external cooking pan, and outdoor bbq were not working. The facilities are pretty run down. Need a good improvement on both services and facilities.

Close to restaurants. Bed was saggy.

Was a great place to stay. close to other places to visit and was super clean and lovely for what we needed

The room would be good for a family with kids since there are 2 bedrooms, one of them with bunk beds. I dont think it was the room I booked, although I cant even see the one I booked anymore since they don’t take anymore booking at this time. I thought I would get a separate villa, but this one is one of many connected in a building. The facility is old, but well looked after and clean. Master bedroom is pretty small, it was a bit hard to walk on the side of one of the bed. But the view is beautiful because you can see the bay and there are many trees around too. Overall I was happy with my stay except that we had to ask for extra toiletries. They dont clean or restock the room everyday and that’s fine for us but they should have given us extra things since we were staying for 5 nights, but only given things for one night stay. The lady who has been checking us in and giving us more toiletries are very lovely and friendly, but since no reception in the facility, would be better to give extra things at the beginning of stay.

A quiet place to stay a short walk to the waterfront. Large old fashioned unit with plenty of space. Worked well for two people but has the bathroom with ill fitting sliding doors between the two bedrooms which might concern larger groups. Friendly host, no Wifi as yet. American River is very quiet which is fine if that is what you want. Do not believe the brochures about choice of restaurants and cafes! Nice dinner at the local club. Koala in a tree and a seal on the wharf, lots of birds. Cheap for Kangaroo Island.
