Nice pool areas, friendly staff and fun activities for adults. Restaurants were okay, typical Mexican all inclusive - but if wanted a better meal or better drinks it cost more. Example $48 dollars american for 12 8oz Coronas.

The room had a humidity smell very strong and very unpleasant we asked for a dehumidifier that made it somewhat better, but not enough. There is mold in the bathroom corners. The staff was pleasant and accommodating the food not good

Property needs a fair amount of repairs,pool fountains not working. Non of the pool getter chairs working. And 1 of the pools was very very dirty all in the tiles. Our room we requested a king bed then was told we didn’t although we got it at check in. The bathroom also amelled of sewer

Stayed in a room with two queen beds on the ground floor of the kids section. It was spacious for a family of 4, quiet and convenient. The room was musty but we brought an air freshener and moisture traps to help with the humidity. The staff at the resort are top notch from lobby to bar to entertainment team. Everyone who works there works hard and are eager to help. The beach and grounds are tended to regularly and we saw a crew of twenty in the mornings to pick up trash from the day before by hand along the beach. There are plenty of food options all day so you won’t get hungry or bored with the selection. We tipped at every meal, multiple times a day at the bars and every day for the maids. All were appreciated.

We got upgraded to the El Beso adult section because we booked with ******* which was a pleasant surprise! For the value this places was great and we would definitely go back. The food was typical of an all inclusive place…good but not great. The buffet was actually very good for breakfast. The beach had seaweed but they did clean it up daily. You do have to get up early to get a chair which is annoying. The staff was very attentive and friendly

This was a great option and choice for my family. It exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our 10-year-old as they were able to completely enjoy it along with the adults.

I didn’t like the fact that the refrigerator was not cold. The room smelled like it needed to be dehumidified. I didn’t really like the fact that I seen where raccoons on the table next to where I was eating and I didn’t like the fact that my girlfriend got a little Red hair dye on a pillow and they charged me $30 for it and when I asked for the pillow back so she can sleep with the same pillow for the remaining nights. They told me they threw it away which means they had intentions on charging me for a new pillow when I still had Two more nights

The check in process was horrible. We wanted to upgrade to Privileged but they wouldn't move us. We said we would stay in our current room for privileged status, but they were going to charge us the same as if we were in the privileged area. Horrible to work with. I had emailed weeks prior to get upgraded and they continued to provide me with a very generic response. After talking with other guest, we found out they checked in the same day and was upgraded for FREE!!! After we did the 90 min (we were 120 min) sales pitch and didn't purchase we felt like we were a piece of dirt. The person wouldn't even talk to us on our walk back. Our $150 credit was almost taken away from us at checkout as well. If we wouldn't have kept pushing, we would have not received it. Seems kind of scamish. On a positive note, the bartenders at the swim up bar were amazing. Gustavo and the other one that does the upper lever of the bar. Five stars for them. My husband and I both got some pretty severe GI issues. reservations need to be easier. I should be able to make my reservations for the restraunts for the entire time I am there the day I check in. My showers were ALWAYS cold. I could not get the water hot. The gift shop hours to view pictures that were taken by your team were bad. I depended on getting some of the pictures but ended up leaving without because of your poor hours. Now I don't have those memories to look back on. VERY disappointed with this.

The price was a bit more for the class of resort. We have stayed in Mexico for more than 3 dozen trips. Ocean Coral is an average resort. The cooking for the restaurants was erratic, one night good the next weird. How do you mess up serving lasagna?

My whole group (and others we spoke to) got the worst food poisoning here! The entertainment was lacking and I on the odd occasion there was something going on, I couldn’t experience much of it considering I was stuck in my room throwing up for more than half of my trip. The property itself is well maintained. The food was very hit or miss, a lot of things at the buffet were not properly refrigerated and looked slimy and gross. Eating at Sensai was the best food I had during my stay, my entire group got food poisoning from Villa Marina and had a horrible dining experience there. We were skipped multiple times by servers while serving the most anticipated cut of meat, the steak, other groups were given 3 or 4 pieces before we were even given 1. Overall extremely disappointing for the price I paid.

There were some great aspects to this property. It’s a very walkable resort and the beach is close and well-maintained. Before we arrived, we asked for a few accommodations and they were all handled. The spa representative (Adela) was very friendly and considerate, booking four appointments for us. Consuela gives great massage! We loved the Italian restaurant and the buffet. The kitties that keep the resort rodent-free were a welcome sight. Some of the bad (all minor)—the cauliflower cream soup could be used as wallpaper paste. The attempted hard up-sell at reception was a bit of a nuisance.

Room, AGAIN (this was my 2nd stay here), was not ready for anyone to stay in, food at the buffet CONSISTENTLY cold, and marginal at best, even when I showed up right at 6:30 for dinner, wait staff less than friendly or productive…most times I left with all my plates still on the table. Food needs a LOT of work…is literally NEVER labelled correctly, so why bother asking people if they have food allergies?!? Went to the spa and it was a bad experience. My massage etc was booked for 3pm, so I showed up at 2:20 to fill out paperwork and expected to be able to use the pools/sauna and hot tub for 30 minutes but was called for my massage in literally in 10 minutes! I filled out the spots tht I wanted her to specifically work on, and they were barely touched…why bother filling that part out?!? Jacuzzi was WAY too hot, could barely even get in. I have a hot tub at home, so I am perfectly aware of how hot it should be…that is a danger to your guests!!! The ONLY redeeming points about my stay is Gustavo and the main pool bar, and Ricardo at the El Beso adults only pool. They are spectacular and both deserve raises! The pool at the El Beso is FREEZING cold…enough that people were hardly getting in it…fix this!!! Would I return a third time…no, I would not. There are too many issues with this hotel that I would rather pay more for hot food, a pool tht is refreshing not freezing cold, friendly staff, and a decent massage.

The level of service was exceptional! We were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms and overall property to be immaculate. The value stands out from all of my other stays. Throughout our stay we were asked by the staff if they could do anything to make our stay even better.
