Nice new hotel from 2022. Nice restaurant, good food and very good arm chairs, Nice wellness. Location is the middle of nowhere. Poor service all over the hotel. If you go for dinner 19:30, food is removed 20:30 except dessert and hardly no dessert left 20:30. No "I am sorry" for billing 103 Euro extra to your invoice. Nobody asked for coffee after dinner - more focused on Breakfast the following day. No fire in the fireplace in the evening where you can be with a drink. Must have been expensive to establish the hotel in old buildings from 1912 but they should send the staff to Das James in Flensburg to learn about service in a 4 or 5 star hotel.

Have just returned to Denmark from yet another great stay at this fantastic resort-like hotel. Once again, the food proved excellent, the rooms very comfortable, the well-ness and relaxation area top-class, and the staff both friendly and extremely service-minded. Can definitely recommend and shall be returning again ourselves.

….then reality. Bought a Spot deal. The deal included a two night stay with breakfast both mornings and fee access to the Spa area during the stay. Evening buffet on the second night. Easy to find on a very remote and relaxing location. Parking is not free, which was a disappointment. The fact that this is on the county side with huge parking area. Beauty full buildings and the surroundings are kept in to perfection. Service minded reception and we got a swift and informative introduction to everything on the premises. The room: Absolutely stunning view from the room to the river passing by the hotel. Fantastic very clean room with sitting area in front of the floor to sealing windows. Great comfortable bed. Fantastic bathroom. Coffee facilities. Large TV. What we missed in the room: Hair dryer. Tea facility. USB plug. Wine glasses. Fridge. The SPA area is exceptionally. Personally I would return for the HAMAM treatment. My better half got the full body massage and was thrilled. Thumbs up for the two ladies. The Saunas and steam bath are really hot, which i prefer. Would recommend a cool bath to dip into. Suggestions for improvement could be an outdoor hot tub and som COLD water for drinks, possibly with lemon. Fantastic ambiance and atmosphere in the restaurant. Great buffet with everything for everybody. The wine list includes something for all tastes and budget. On our first night, we would have appreciated the opportunity to order a la carte. Not an option. Outstanding breakfast. It has everything. Cocked to order. Everything in great quality. Service. All in all outstanding, accept from the only male waiter in the restaurant, which seems a bit grumpy. If you’re not a golfer, take a long walk in the area. The reception gives advice. Would probably be back.

Wonderful hotel with the most amazing view and surroundings. The hotel is build with high quality materials and is very modern. Only minus is the the Spa is a "naked" spa, so we could/would only use the big pool. Breakfast have nice but could upgrate a little. I would love to go back thoug.

Amazing place with very comfortable rooms and wonderful scenery. The buffet options for both breakfast and dinner are excellent. The golf course is exceptional. They also have a spa available but due to time constraints was not able to use it

Ich reise sehr viel und wohne oft in 4 oder 5 Sterne Hotels. Noch nie war ich rundum so zufrieden wie im Hotel Breitenburg. Die Location, die Lage, das Essen, das Personal, der SPA Bereich, die Sauberkeit, wirklich alles kann ich nur mit 5 Sternen bewerten. Absolut empfehlenswert, vielen Dank an das tolle Team!
