Spent 4 nights here last week, and played golf 3 times. There was clearly once an intention to build a large housing estate on the road up to the resort, which never happened. It feels quite isolated, although it’s really not that far to the coast, and less than an hour to Valencia. The scenery around the hotel and golf course is spectacular, as it’s nestled between the mountains and orange groves. Absolutely beautiful. Arriving at the hotel we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The facility is modern, spacious and impressive. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and had a terrace with great views. Wi-Fi was good. We did not use the spa or the gym. We asked for a table for lunch at 1.30 when we arrived, and were surprised to find that we could only just be fitted in. It became apparent why, as the restaurant was soon full. Not with tourists or hotel guests, as the restaurant is open to all for lunch (not dinner). The food and service were excellent, so we could see why it was so popular. We arrived on a bank holiday, but actually the lunch session was very busy each day of our stay. The hotel was hosting a professional Spanish cycling team for a couple of weeks, whilst we were there, so there weren’t many other guests apart from us. I think there’s only about 48 rooms. We were on half board, and dinner is usually a buffet for hotel guests only. This was a bit tricky with all the cyclists staying. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us, as it was a bit unusual, and ensure that we weren’t inconvenienced at all. This was very much appreciated. The golf course was as challenging as expected ! Some really great views, greens/fairways in good condition and interesting holes, but we certainly lost lots of golf balls. It was a bit windy, but not wet, and you need a buggy unless you are particularly super fit. The staff were all very friendly helpful and accommodating, and the course wasn’t busy (low season). We enjoyed our stay and would happily return, but need to improve our golfing skills to do the course justice.

This property is really beautiful and has the potential to be a 5 star hotel, however, unfortunately due to the very poor service, the hotel is deceiving. The staff is incredibly hostile and not accommodating at all. We tried to book a golf lesson prior to arriving as the hotel reception communicated that they had a teacher onsite, but when we tried to book they come up with all kinds of excuses, eventually stating that there was no teacher for any days of our stay. When we arrived we booked a deluxe room, however our neighbors were incredibly noisy. After having complained to the receptionist about it, she did nothing and said quite bluntly: “I guess it’s normal”. It was quite frustrating that nothing was done. When we went to the pool they said they didn’t have enough pool towels for us. I have never been to a hotel where they didn’t have enough towels for their guests, especially a luxury hotel. The hotel was not even fully booked, so this was even more surprising. After finally asking them to ask House Keeping the pool girl finally got us a towel. After all of this, I sent an email to the receptionist asking if I could have the contact of the Manager of the hotel and they said it wasn’t possible and that the Manager would answer my email. Until today I still haven’t had any reply from the Manager nor the receptionist to my email. I find this extremely poor management and I am incredibly disappointed that I was unable to talk to a supervisor or at least receive a reply to my email. I’ve never encountered such poor service. Although the hotel is beautiful, the really bad service leaves you feeling really deceived by the entire experience.

Our expectation has not been met. We already played the golf course several times, so we have been curious about the hotel. While using the SPA, several little kids standing outside, shouting and knocking at the window of the pool area - it is an adult only hotel. For dinner only the buffet restaurant was open, the offered menu was just average and the restaurant has an atmosphere like a canteen. Nothing what we expected for a dinner on a saturday evening. Enjoyable is the view from the rooms. Also staff was very friendly and engaged.

Just stayed the one night half board. The hotel is stunning and the surrounding views take your breath away. The staff were ver attentive and highly professional. Facilities ar immaculate, the out door pool overlooking the valley , is the clearest salt water pool I have ever swam in. The spa and gym are fantastic. Plenty of choice at the buffet and food is of a great standard. The main thing you will find here is the tranquility, you cannot help but relax. Cant wait to go back. Only slight suggestion, add the word Spa into the name of the hotel. Would make it easier to convince a non golf playing partner to come.

A new, modern hotel in the hills overlooking an excellent golf course. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a very comfortable room and bathroom near the swimming pool and overlooking the golf course. The spa was also excellent and very quiet when we were there so most of the time we had it to ourselves. it was also included in the room charge. Residents of the hotel received favourable rates at the golf course and staff were helpful in advising the best tee times, so that we didn't have to wait on the course. The only draw back for us (in October) was that there weren't many restaurants in the vicinity - many were apparently closed at this time of year. The menu in the hotel was quite limited the first evening but in the weekends there was an excellent buffet and that included freshly cooked meats and fish on the grill. We suggested they should advertise it better as it was well worth having! In all a very comfortable resort for golfers and not too commercial!
