ハレパ ホテル(Halepa Hotel)

We stayed at this hotel in April, and were not disappointed. The location is on the edge of Chania town close to the Museum of Archaeology. The room was clean comfortable and spacious and all the hotel staff friendly, eager to help and efficient! The breakfast was super with a great selection of delicious food to be eaten outside in the gardens or on the roof terrace (or inside if that's your preference!). It's a lovely place and was the British Embassy in the mid-1800s but now completely modernised in a tasteful way! We loved it and it made for a special holiday. In a peaceful location away from the noise and bustle of the city cente so a bit of a walk (downhill) into the town and nightlife.

Stayed here for two weeks for work-related travel. The staff was amazing: warm, friendly, and genuinely proud of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and excellently maintained. The location is ideal, as it is located directly across from the water, and within easy walking distance to several restaurants and shops. I am planning a pleasure trip back to Chania (Crete) and will hopefully be able to book at the Halepa!

Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and provided great advice for stay in Crete etc. On the following morning breakfast was delicious.

Superb hotel with great location and old world charm. Nikos and Elefteria at the front desk were excellent hosts. My family enjoyed a wonderful 3 week stay. The breakfasts were superb. I recommend this boutique hotel to everyone looking for a great value near the city center and walking distance to the Venetian Port. Thanks again to the hotel staff for our magnificent stay.

Everything. Nothing not to like. Great hotel, tavernas, and shops in a great historic neighborhood. Friendliness and helpful staff. We enjoyed our time in this hotel very much! The room was really nice and clean.

I have stayed at the Halepa in many occasions ad it remains my go to hotel in Chania. The staff are always happy to please, the accommodation is super ad the position away from the centre is ideal. Breakfast on the terrace is a highlight and their ****** lunches are excellent.

This is simply one of the loveliest, coziest boutique hotels I have had the pleasure to book, visit and enjoy every minute of my stay there. My husband, my daughter and I travelled from the UK to Crete in the end of July 2022 and spent a week at Halepa Hotel - it is essentially an old, historic building with a very aristocratic yet unpretentious feel (with some lovely paintings and sculptures to decorate the lounge and corridors). The room wasn't very spacious but it was air-conditioned, clean and the staff - very polite and eager to listen to our requests and assist us in any way. The food was absolutely delicious - one day we had to wake up at 5 am to go on a trip (by boat) to Santorini. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that someone was already waiting for us in the dining hall to ask what we would like for breakfast as well as to provide three beautifully packed lunch boxes we took with us on the trip (expected to last approximately 15-16 hours). Also, my birthday was on the day after we arrived and the staff was very courteous - they sent a signed card, wine and fresh fruits to my room and even made the extra effort to find someone to congratulate me in my mother tongue (Bulgarian). I strongly recommend Halepa!!

Stayed in this hotel= Room 108 for a week- Excellent location. lovely breakfast, Staff friendly and helpful. Nice gardens to sit out with breakfast in the morning and a rooftop balcony to lie out. would highly recommend this hotel

My wife and I decided to go to Chania for our 25th Anniverssary trip. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Located in a great location where you can get to everywhere in Chania with good restaurants. Highly recommended to check this place out.
