「We spent three weeks travelling around China in early April and this was probably my favourite destination. The hotel staff were genuinely SO friendly and helpful, as were all of the locals in the area. We had the hotel driver pick us up from the airport for ¥300 which was a 2.5 hour drive - 谢谢司机🙏🏼 When we got there, we met the receptionist who turned out to be one of the kindest people we met the whole trip! He was not only the receptionist but also helped out in the kitchen, and was willing to drive guests to / from places around the village. He lives on-site and has a little translation device if you don’t speak Mandarin 😊 We had two dinners in the hotel which were both amazing, we received complimentary tea and rice wine!! The view from the balcony was incredible. The village has three main viewpoints and the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from one of them so we heard so many tourists walk by talking about how they wish they would have booked to stay in this hotel! Overall, I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back in the future but probably in September time as this is when the rice is in full harvest!」

「This is a very lovely place located right in the center and a beautiful view of rice terraces. On one side you can see the view of Golden Buddha place and on the other side Thousand layers spot is 20min walk. Also, this place is vegetarian friendly. As a vegetarian I was a bit anxious traveling to this remote location, but this hotel has a lot of good options including a warm soup for breakfast as well!」

「村への到着は少し大変でした。バス停からホテルまで、重いスーツケース2つを抱えて20分も垂直に登らなければならなかったので、少し不機嫌だったかもしれません。しかし、到着した途端、私たちの気分は一変しました。オーナーはとても親切で、車で迎えに行こうと連絡を取ろうとしたのですが、国際電話の番号だったのでできなかったと言ってくれました。その後、部屋をアップグレードしてもらい、最初の観光スポットへ向かう場所を案内してくれました。当初は1泊だけの予定でしたが、滞在があまりにも気に入ったので、もう1泊追加しました。ホテルの美しい景色を眺めながら、とても美味しいヨーロピアンブレックファーストをいただき、地元の猫とも仲良くなりました。周辺のハイキングコースや文化体験はどれも素晴らしく、特に大寨平安ハイキングコースは、道沿いに素晴らしい景色がいくつもあって、とても気に入りました。中国南部を3週間旅した中で、最もリラックスして楽しい3日間だったかもしれません。滞在の最後には、オーナーがバスまで車で送ってくれました。他の季節にもまた来て、ここで丸一週間過ごしたいと思っています。」

「absolutely lovely place to stay! the owners were extremely accommodating, friendly, and good cooks to boot. the stay overlooks the ping'an terraces and is close to two observation decks. the room was spacious and very clean and comfortable (although the mattress on the bunk beds were too hard) its quite high up and there's a lot of steps to climb. pro tip: bring duffel bags or anything else that isn't a heavy luggage bag, as the climb up/down with those is a tough one」

「Great view!!! The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. The room was very clean and pleasant. The breakfast was quite healthy and satisfying. They took care of us all the way to the end and answered all our questions promptly. We were very happy with the stay.」

「Great hotel by the rice fields. Very easy to reach by the sightseeing bus. Easily walkable to through multiple paths in the rice fields. Lovely authentic room design and very helpful hosts. We also had our dinner here and the food was great. Try specialities cooked in bamboo and ask for the chili flakes hot sauce.」

「Our stay at Yundu Panjing Mountain House was absolutely incredible 🤍 The place is stunning, with breathtaking views over the rice terraces, truly a magical setting where you feel peaceful from the moment you arrive. The hospitality was exceptional. The team took such great care of us throughout our stay. They even helped us buy local rice directly from villagers and surprised us with lovely farewell gifts. Their kindness and attention to detail really made the experience special 🥹 The room was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly matched the atmosphere of the village. Waking up here surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views is unforgettable. And of course, a special shoutout to Bobo, the hotel’s mascot 🐶 the sweetest and friendliest dog, who made our stay even warmer and more enjoyable! Huge thanks to the whole team, this is a place and a memory we will cherish forever. If you’re coming to Longji, you must stay here ❤️」
