「We enjoyed our stay at this lovely place, first and foremost thanks to the guesthouse owner. He warmly welcomed us in the parking area, helped with our luggage, and prepared delicious homemade meals using fresh, natural ingredients.
The views are absolutely stunning, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and all essential amenities are provided free of charge. The bed was very comfortable, and waking up to the breathtaking scenery through the panoramic windows was truly unforgettable.」

「A comfortable, clean, family-run hotel in an excellent location, with a warm and homey atmosphere. Coming from Chongqing, we especially appreciated how the owners went the extra mile to organize a shuttle pickup for us from Guilin North Railway Station. The shuttle connected perfectly with the regular bus to Dazhai, making the journey smooth and stress-free. They also kindly transport guests to and from the main parking area before entering Dazhai village itself.
After a long day hiking through the breathtaking rice terraces, we highly recommend trying the delicious homemade Chinese dishes prepared by the owner’s wife — authentic, fresh, and exactly what you need after trekking.
Two final tips: don’t miss the chance to try on the complimentary traditional local clothing and take photos. It’s a fun and memorable touch that adds even more charm to the overall experience.
Also, for a small fee (around 50 yuan), we had a wonderful cultural experience with two local women who proudly showcased their traditionally long hair and kindly posed with us for photos. It was a unique and memorable moment that made our stay even more special.」

Yikelong Inn (Nalati Grassland Branch) – A Cozy Habitat Hidden in the Scenery
【Geographical Advantage: Step into the Painting】
Located in the core area of Nalati Town, the inn is a 5-minute drive from the entrance of the National 5A-level Nalati Scenic Area and adjacent to the grassland highway. Whether traveling by self-drive or taking the scenic area direct bus, you can easily start a travel rhythm of "watching snow-capped mountains in the morning and treading the grassland at noon," seamlessly connecting the scenery with accommodation.
【Living Experience: Details Reflect Sincerity】
- **Comfortable Configuration**: Guest rooms are furnished with log furniture and ethnic-style soft decorations. Air conditioning and independent bathroom systems ensure year-round comfort. Facilities such as 24-hour constant-temperature hot water, high-speed free WiFi, and HD LCD TVs are all available. Bedding is disinfected and replaced daily to safeguard sleep quality with star-standard services.
- **Environmental Aesthetics**: The inn's courtyard is planted with wild roses and gesang flowers, featuring an open-air teahouse and viewing platform. At night, you can gather around the campfire to gaze at the grassland stars; in the morning, you can listen to the stream and birdsong, integrating natural wildness into daily旅居 (sojourn) life.
【Humanistic Warmth: Making Guests Feel at Home】
The courtyard on the first floor of the inn is a carefully tended little world. In the neat flower beds, various plants grow in order, with golden flowers dotted among them and occasional clusters of bright pink blooms. A stone path shuttles through it, connecting the lawn-covered leisure area. Under two red umbrellas, simple wooden tables and chairs are placed. Guests can drink tea and chat here, watch green plants climb along the building, listen to the rustling of leaves, and let sunlight filter through the branches, dyeing ordinary days into a warm and (comfortable) scene full of healing daily life.
【To Travelers】
This is not a hasty resting post but a "home away from home" where grassland life is within reach. Whether you are a photography enthusiast chasing the stars or a sojourner (yearning for) the slow pace of the grassland, Yikelong Inn awaits you with a warm shelter to unload your luggage and turn the scenery into stories.
「We loved the home cooked meals. We enjoyed the freshly picked veggies from their garden every day.
The host family was very kind and helpful, answering all of our questions about how to hike around Dazhai. It was really nice that we were there during the slow season as we loved how peaceful and quiet it was. They have a beautiful baby and cute cat on premises.
The room was spacious and clean with a great view of a rice terrace. There was a nice bathtub where you could view the rice terrace as you bathe. The washing machine was helpful as well.
We'd stay there again and would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay at Dazhai.」
