Rooms were posh, plush, & guest friendly. Staff always smiling & so accomodating. Perfect place to stay a night before a cruise bc close to the port. Wish we were staying longer bc this was a excellent, safe spot. Plenty to do in walking distance & restaurants were hella quality.
We stayed here for one night on our way through Miami, we have always loved staying in Coconut Grove such a great feel to the area, and the Mutiny is always such a lovely spot and in a great area. Although the hotel was not sold out, the room they gave us for the price we paid was less than ideal, and although we were given a balcony it was on the second floor near the car park area.... WAY BACK at the end of the hotel where clearly the rooms were worn out and needed a refurbishment. It was quite disappointing, and given there are so many newer hotels in the area I would consider staying elsewhere next time.
ゲゲストSpent 6 nights here spread out before and after a cruise from Miami port. We booked hotel in a Black Friday sale and opted for breakfast included. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a new look to it and is tastefully decorated throughout. We had some teething problems with our rooms ( No power in sockets on one side of room, hotel safe not working, no wardrobe in room on our 2nd visit, room not cleaned on first day until we asked the floor supervisor that evening at 5.15pm who admitted that our room was not on her roster for cleaning that day, no shower seat in accessible bathroom, as I am disabled). However staff were very keen to rectify these issues quickly and they were addressed promptly apart from the safe after the trainee on reception told us he’d send someone to the room to sort it while we were at dinner. This didn’t happen and we had to wait until the following morning where we were told by a more senior receptionist that it’s policy not to send engineers to a room if the guests are not there. It was then sorted with ten minutes. We also had an issue with our credit card with this trainee manager that was eventually sorted out by Erik. In fact, the staff were very pleasant and their attitude would definitely persuade us to return if we visited Miami again. We must mention Sabrina, Erik and Ayainna who were extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. I’m sure they were not looking forward to seeing us approaching the reception desk. But these were genuine issues that should not have arisen and to be fair they were all dealt with and solved calmly and quickly, with 1 exception. The rooms during both our stays (4 nights and 2 nights) were very spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable with luxurious bed coverings. Both rooms were a generous size. Lighting was very good, storage space was perfect. Bathrooms were spacious and spotless. The breakfast though on the expensive side, was an excellent buffet style with some nice treats such as fresh fruit bowls, soaked over night oats, and fresh pastries . There was plenty of choice and service was good most mornings. We also ate dinner there on 3 nights and the food was good. We used the swimming pool on the top floor. It was heated slightly and was very pleasant though it got a bit busy in the evenings. There is a very pleasant terrace and bar up there also with great views of the city, especially at night time. Hotel is located about 10 mins walk from the Brickell stop on the people mover. We enjoyed our stay, it’s an expensive hotel when you include breakfast so we expected everything to be right for what we were paying. However the can do attitude of staff convinced us we were just unlucky and we hope to visit Miami again and therefore this hotel. If I had a choice I’d have given a 3.5 rating for our stay purely related to the difficulties mentioned above
4425djibyfGreat stay I have a great time with family at this property and checking was very smooth and property is clean and quiet. I would like to thanks Front desk team at checking Ekatra (if I remember correctly). My kids enjoyed the iguanas by the pool. Breakfast was good and shoutout to Daisy who took care of us very nice and helpful for both days. Finally, Gloria from the Starbucks coffee was very helpful too to get some snacks. Overall we had a great time and the entire crew was great.
Bbreeannab2020If you are sensitive to mold STAY AWAY!! Others should expect a headache from the smell of cleaner they use to cover the smell. In addition the bed was dirty, floors also dirty, fridge leaked. No effort for maintenance. We stayed with another group who’s room had rain come through the front door. We switched rooms within an hour of checking in, just to find the other room was not any better. Good odds all the rooms need overhaul or at a bare minimum some anti-mold paint. Do yourself and family a favor and pay the little extra for a good nights sleep at the other nearby hotels. Those offer comfort, breakfast, and trust.
JJoyce Yee-LingThis is an older hotel but it’s clean with nice staff providing good services. The location is excellent. You can see the beautiful Port of Miami and Bayside market outside your window. Most tourists buses either pick up outside the hotel or across the street. The cruise harbor and restaurant are in walking distance or you can take the free trolley to go around yourself. Next time I visit will book this hotel again.
