No issue with the hotel, clean room, friendly reception staff. We use this hotel regularly and have never had an issue. Ate at the restaurant the first night as we have several times before. First night the food was excellent. The place was busy, but the staff were friendly and helpful, service was excellent and the food was hot and tasty. The second night the food and service were appalling. I had to send my starter back twice and it was still inedible. The chill was missed off the nachos the first time, and the second time it was dumped on without being heated and was stone cold! 2 of our 4 mains were stone cold. We sent them back, and they came out cold and tough. We ended up not eating our meals as it was awful. The restaurant was mostly empty, however the service was terrible. The table behind us waiting over an hour for their food. The table next to us waited nearly an hour to order, but gave up and walked out. We complained to the shift leader who refunded us part of the meal deal, however when we left I scanned their QR code which encourages you to leave a review. The QR code was disabled and I heard the staff comment that I had scanned it to leave a review. Terrible service, cold, inedible food, bad mannered staff. Will not be eating here again. The hotel was as good as it usually is, but I would avoid the restaurant!!
