クルーガー パーク ロッジ(Kruger Park Lodge)

The grounds are lovely, the lodge was nice and had everything we needed. the main problem was the wifi, you have to pay for it and it is ridiculously expensive, you even have to pay for it if you go to reception, every other place we have stayed, if you don't get it free in your room at least you can go to reception to use it for free.

Perfect for family outings. House very big and neat. Every thing is perfect. Location very close to mall. Friendly staff. I will definitely return.my kids really enjoyed the play area and swimming pool.

Positives: close to Kruger National Park, attractive grounds, trails, pools, nice restaurant, golf, monkeys and impala on the property, restaurant staff polite, friendly, welcoming, made my husband's bday enjoyable, chalet and grounds cleaning crew excellent Negatives: No proper welcoming on check-in, handed an envelope at the entrance gate and told to find your own way to your RCI chalet, Unit 62 was disgusting stinking, damp, moldy, after complaining from Fri to Monday to reception, who could not care less when talking to the main woman on the phone, about our health in breathing the mold, and the ancient air conditioning units in the bedrooms, we finally got moved at 5 pm on Monday evening to chalet 53 that had proper air con., no smell and met the standards that we expect as global travelers. Beware of Chalet 62!!!

Really enjoyed our stay at KPL. The house was really nice and to see impala, monkeys etc while walking around was great. It's well positioned for the Kruger Park. House had a swimming pool which was well maintained. Very relaxing

An excellent place to stay just outside the Kruger Park, which is just 14 kms away. It is close to local amenities meaning that you do not have far to travel for groceries, shopping or any other possible requirements.

Dit resort is mooi, heeft mooie huizen en goede faciliteiten. Het ziet er mooi uit, het restaurant is prima en alles is erg mooi onderhouden. Het is alleen erg vreemd dat je internet vouchers moet kopen die vervolgens absurd duur zijn. Dat is niet meer van deze tijd.

Bien organizado. Excelente atención. Superpuntuales. El alojamiento es confortable, el lugar, muy bonito. La comida, muy buena. Excelente relación cludad precio. Fuimos tres amigos tres días de safari. Una, e periencia inolvidable.

KPL is a very tired resort. From the get go I was sorry I booked into this place. About the only positive is that it's convenient to the shopping centers and to Phabeni Gate. The receptionist was quite incompetent in that she gave incorrect directions and keys to the wrong chalet. Batteries only worked for one of the air con units and no others, and not for the tv. Only one tiny ice cube tray with tiny ice cubes. One toilet seat was cracked, one bathtub had grout that was moldy, entire unit was very musty and I found it difficult to breathe. The owner of my unit, Shaheen was a terrible communicator. When I shared with the assistant GM my experiences at check in he wasn't particularly empathetic and I did expect a bottle of wine as that would be what any respectable GM would do to ameliorate such a series of mistakes, but this GM, did nothing. KPL markets itself as a luxury establishment yet there is litter around the property, I found cigarette butts that had been there for days on my walks, various bits of plastic on the ground. The place is tired. No updates since 2011 I believe. You can hear your neighbors talking as the walls are paper thin.
