It is the best hotel in which we have ever been. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Food was amazing, a lot of different tastes every day. Places for children prepared very well. Hotel is splitted into different areas. If you travel with children you get the room closly to the pool for children and playground. If you travel adults only you get the nice room close to the swimming pool for adults only. Hotel is allocated close to the beach. We would like to thank all the service teams there. Especially to Bartek, Francesca and Anas from the animation team! Thank you for amazing time spent toghether!

We had booked to stay at a Villa in Puerto Del Carmen for a fortnight but needed alternative accommodation for the first two nights due to flights. We decided on Club Del Carmen. Service from staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Our apartment was very clean and spacious with a great view overlooking the pool with the sea just behind. Club Del Carmen is very eco friendly. Great to have a tap with drinking water in our room. You could use the pool at any time during its opening hours but sun beds had to be booked. You could book a morning or afternoon slot. They said it’s usually one slot per day per room, but if people don’t show up for their slot within 30 mins the lifeguard will look to see if there is space for you. We thought the booking system was a great idea. We ate at the restaurant on-site Baily Bar for one of the evenings, the food was lovely and reasonably priced. We were very happy with our short stay and would look to stay again in the future.

After reading reviews was worried about what we had booked into, all I can say it’s what you make it and we had a fantastic extended family holiday. Yes lots of steps but our elderly parents managed fine even been up in the gods. Rooms very out dated and would benefit from some TLC, the views from the rooms are amazing looking out over the sea, absolutely beautiful to sit and relax with a brew in a morning and drinks in the evening. Pool is very deep but there is a small kids pool where ours played all day long with no issues. We were self catering but had many a brunch at the food bar and the food is excellent and reasonable. The resident ducks and one young seagull arrive when the pool closes at 6 which the kids found amazing taking pictures on their iPads. Lovely situated in old town with plenty of bars and places to eat. Life guard that was on during our week stay was fun and we had a good laugh with him. All I can say is no it’s not the Hilton but if it was you would be paying a way lot more. My advise if you have booked this is go and enjoy yourself a holiday is what you make it. I would book again for the location and views.

Nice apartment very close to the tourist strip of PDC. Good shower and bed. Very clean. Quiet. Internet was free and functional. We ate in the restaurant twice for lunch which was nice. Didn’t try breakfast as it was too expensive. Access is via steep hills and lots of steps so not ideal for people with mobility issues but not a problem for our party. Pool was unheated so didn’t use it. If you like PDC then this hotel it worth a look.

Arrived at 11pm no tea or coffee in room just a kettle couldn't get into fridge properly as bed in way same with the stool bed in way walk way from room to pool down some steps was very muddy needs some patip slabs caught toe on sprinkler work is ongoing in spa and wellness wernt told it was closed drilling and smashing of tiles most days received a letter 4 days in to say sorry for noise not what you want qhen on sun bed by pool bathroom was very dusty had to call as water coming from toliet onto floor had to call as skirting board coming off wall man came in and glued it back on for a 4star hotel was disappointing gave staff list when was leaving and was told work in progress come back next yr will be better sorry no

A fantastic location. We stayed in an apartment across the road from the main building. The apartment was clean and tidy. The fan in the bedroom kept us cool at night. There was no air con or fan in the main living area which made it very hot but we spent most time outdoors so it was not a massive issue. The pool bar was excellent and they had a great selection of drinks. A beer cost €2.50 in the pool bar but for some reason the hotel bar charged €3.00. The staff were all super friendly and cannot be faulted. If you come out of the hotel take a left and that is the easier way to get up and down from the strip avoiding cardiac hill. Also on that route there is 2 spar supermarkets. We booked again for the same week next year.

First time at this hotel. Location is good it’s on a hill and lots steps but it’s lovely here very friendly and rooms are lovely and big we had pool view room 209 can’t fault it hotel pool etc is perfect and very clean. Will definitely come here again when staying in Lanza.

This is our 4th RUI hotel and it didn't disappoint. They tend to offer a similar experience. The swimming pool areas were spacious with plenty of sunbeds and always kept clean and tidy. The restaurants were also excellent. We had breakfast every day in the main buffet and we also ate there in the evenings on some of the nights. The food here was varied, with a good choice of fish and meat and other options, and always served hot. We visited the 2 themed restaurants on many occasions. Our favourite was the Asian as the food was different, but both were really good. The 2 x Pepe snack bars at each pool were ideal for a mid-day snacky lunch if you didn't want a full meal. Drink was easy to get, with a queuing system at the main bar, which was great. The ”help yourself” beer and soft drink taps were very accessible and saved going to the bar all the time - they also had shandy (Radler) here. Our room was in the main block, overlooking the tennis court. The air con was brilliant and the room was comfortable and a nice size, with plenty of drawers and hangers. The staff were always smiling and happy in their work. We interacted with many of them. In particular, Vale from the entertainment team was a ray of sunshine and always said hello to us. Also, Rocio behind the main bar was always smiling and up for a laugh, along with Lucas, who spoke little English, but seemed to communicate really well through the medium of ”Real Madrid”!! In addition, Pablo, one of the Managers, was often on hand to check on things and was happy to stop and talk any time. We would happily recommend this place to anyone - the walks from the back gate along the sea front were excellent with no hills at all, so suitable for everyone.

First time at this Hotel. Lovely location right by the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Our room was lovely and spacious, beds are so comfortable. The maid service was fantastic, room cleaned and towels changed each day. It was my Birthday and the Hotel left me a bottle of bubbly which I thought was lovely. So glad we only booked HB, the food was terrible, look warm and not a lot of choice, so glad we never had any kids with us as there is nothing for them in my opinion. The best thing I had was a cheese and onion sandwich.

Room was clean but bath was extremely stained and looked like a bath mat had been left to rot and disintegrate not a good look. Our room was always in the shade no sunshine what so ever. The towel and sunbeds situation is a joke we are early risers and not once did we get a sunbed on the sunny side of the pool and this was low season. There is definitely not enough beds for the amount of appartments. The hotel needs to be stricter with towels on the beds as a lot were not even used throughout the day. On the plus side we had some lovely days on the beach not what we planned but the beach is lolvey. The only downside is we planned to spend more time in the hotel as we have walking difficulties and knew we were up a hill the hill is not quite cardiac hill but it's on par if you have health problems. The reception were freindly and helpful and could not fault the reception. Although having a tv is not priority on holiday we did pay a returnable deposit for the tv and was impressed itv bbc and we could sign into the likes of Netflix ect with a excellent connection, the WiFi in the room was very good. Not sure I would book this hotel again.

We have just returned after three weeks at Labranda El Dorado. I had read previous reviews and wondered if we had made the right choice. I needn't have worried - we had a wonderful time. Every member of staff that we met was friendly, our apartment was spotless when we arrived and the hard working cleaners made sure it stayed that way and our towels and bed linen were changed regularly. The gounds were also kept in an imaculate condition and they added to the enjoyment of our stay. There always seems to be plenty of free sunbeds - we didn't use them as we preferred our sunny balcony. We did visit the pool bar for coffee several times and enjoyed both the coffee and the atmosphere, The apartments are so well situated - the back gate makes shopping in the shopping centre so easy - and the reception entrance is close to several smaller shops (ideal for hot bread rolls in a morning.) Other reviews have mentioned insects - we once met a cockroach in the bathroom. We removed him and that was that. The only slight downside was the lack of utensils in the kitchen - there were no scissors and the large implements providing for stirring were too big for the pans - a plastic spoon would be a great help. Also the smaller saucepan did not have a lid - which is a hazard when reaching over it to stir something in the pan at the back. A basin or similar container would also be useful. However this had little impact on our holiday. Thank you to all of you - we hope to return next year.

so we've walked past this hotel for many years, and it looked a very nice place to stay, but first impressions can be deceptive, when we arrived we did find the staff friendly and helpful, we had booked 2 rooms with sea view, at check in we were told we'd been given an upgrade to a junior suite, but as soon as we got to our rooms the excitement disappeared, our sea view turned out to be overlooking the building next to us, the room looked and felt tatty and worn out, bedside lights didn't work, the bed was of poor quality and the pillows were flat, in the bathroom there was a poor excuse for a hairdryer which was broken, and the toilet was constantly filling, marks on the bathroom tiles that looked like human residue that were never cleaned off during the whole of our stay. We had no kettle which wasn't the best when you have to make up infant milk, the faults in the room were reported to reception on several occasions but unfortunately only the light was fixed, the kettle did make an appearance the following day. the restaurant was clean, it was a buffet style, and the food was always being replaced so it was always hot, but it gets very repetitive, a few issues were noted, some plates were kept in a heater,but on many occasions you would find the bottom of the plate still had food residue on it, breakfast had its own challenges mainly with the coffee, there were four machines 2 at each end, but all the time i was there, there was only ever 2 machines working one either end, which meant a constant Queue, the major problem is the staff cannot keep up with demand for cups or cutlery and clearing empty tables. The pool area is again clean, you get the standard problem of towels on beds at stupid o'clock in the morning then lying empty for hours , the hotel warns beds left with towels on will be removed, but we all know this will never happen, luckily we never had a problem finding some away from the main pool area, but i would hate to see it in high season, there are 3 pools two are heated, pool towels are available but the system is not explained to you in advance, if you want towels you will have to pay a deposit(10 euros each) at reception you are given a ticket which you take to the hut by the child's pool, to obtain towels, if you want fresh towels you need to take old ones to reception and exchange them for a new ticket. There is a pool bar serving all drinks alongside that is the poolside restaurant a smaller version of the main restaurant, there are also self serve drinks machines at the entrance which is helpful if you don't want to queue at the bar, but be aware these are switched off after pool restaurant closes. the evening bar/ entertainment area is ok, never had to wait long to be served, the entertainment was passible if you had nothing better to do. there are two other what they call specialty restaurants open a few nights each but these need to be prebooked a Chinese & Italian we couldn't get into the Chinese and to be honest the
