This hotel is simply to be avoided. A hostess at the reception desk, with a slight smirk, tells you the hotel is fully booked and there’s nothing she can do. My request was to change rooms because the one I was assigned had as its only view a wall less than a meter from the window. On the booking platforms, it’s listed as an economy room, but nowhere does it mention such a view—and while the photos show daylight, it’s completely misleading. It’s just appalling that a 4-star hotel would market this kind of room. There’s no on-site parking; it’s located at a competitor’s place down the road, and it’s a paid service. The staff are friendly, except for that receptionist. Cet hôtel est juste à fuir. Une hôtesse à la réception qui vous répond,non sans un petit rictus, que l’hôtel est complet et qu’elle ne peut rien faire. Ma demande concernait un changement de chambre car celle qui m’était attribuée avait comme seule vue un mur situé à moins d’un mètre de la fenêtre. Sur les plates-formes, il est précisé chambre économique mais en aucun cas avec une telle vue et d’après les photos, on voit de la clarté mais c’est totalement trompeur. Il est juste lamentable qu’un hôtel 4 étoiles commercialise ce type de chambre. Pas de parking sur place, il est situé chez le concurrent en bas pour une prestation payante. Personnel sympathique à l’exception de cette réceptionniste.

Kotoni B&Bには、写真を撮るための素敵なホテルの正面があります。城とバザールの近くにあります。到着する前に、ベッドの配置/タイプ方法を明確にしようと努力しましたが、チェックインは問題でした。この問題は到着時にしか見つけられなかったと満足して調査されたと思いますが、4-night滞在の2つの場所で追加の部屋に175ユーロを支払う以外に選択肢はありませんでした。部屋のお湯は危険に暑かった。シャワーのお湯が沸騰するのを防ぎ、自分のカップを使ってアタを入れてシャワーに流しからよく混ぜたお湯を使うことに頼らざるを得なかった!寝具の問題にすでに失望しているため、所有者に問題を提起しませんでした。私の滞在をさらに台無しにしたくありませんでした。全体的に、私はまだGjirokasterでの滞在を楽しむことができました、そして多くの宿泊施設のオプションがあると指摘しました、それで私は戻ってくるかもしれないので他の場所で予約しようとします。

A beautiful, relaxing oasis in Gjirokaster– 5 Stars! Hotel Boutique Ergjeria exceeded all of our expectations. The property is gorgeous, meticulously maintained, and felt like a luxurious place to unwind. Best night sleep in all our many stops across Albania and the bathroom and shower were brilliant. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service; the family that own the hotel were incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely eager to help. From the beautiful room to the incredible breakfast, it was a flawless experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting! It is also within a short walk to the centre with a well lit pavement leading you straight there in under 5 mins with a great view along the way.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting. A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

The restaurant was closed the first night and they changed our room from one big bed to 5 kids beds which was odd. The two tvs are pointless, no channels and doesn't allow Netflix or any streaming services. Staff was nice and the breakfast was great. They offer some fun outdoor activities also. I'd stay again but they should upgrade the TV's.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Small hotel room. Tv was pointless, couldn't login to Netflix or any services. No kettle in the room, fridge is outside your room which was nice. Good location, market across the road and restaurants all around. Parking included was nice.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

Maradona is the host and comes to terminal to pick you up which is super convenient for people traveling without car. Good location to city center Bazar and castle in 10min walk. Recommend people to stay one night to enjoy Gjirokaster.

We loved this place! The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and the water pressure and temperature were good. I was pleased that they provided memory foam pillows.
