「Staying at the Parkgate Hotel was an excellent experience, I have stayed at other hotels in Cardiff City Centre before and previously always been a bit disappointed, however this hotel is classy right from the moment you walk through the doors. Check-in was very smooth. The room beautifully clean and well appointed with all of the things that you require. The breakfast was excellent and checkout was very smooth. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, well done!」

「電車でカーディフ・セントラル駅に到着し、そこからプレミア・インまでは徒歩15分です。とても歓迎的でスタッフも親切でした。部屋は清潔で、正面玄関のトラベラーズ・ストアで紅茶とコーヒーを好きなだけ飲むことができました。唯一の不満は、私には食事制限があるのですが、対応してもらえず、提供されているもので我慢しなければならなかったことです。夜にはグルテンフリーの食事はなく、一般的なハンバーガー、ラザニア、ステーキを揚げたフィッシュ・アンド・チップスしかありませんでした。野菜はエンドウ豆だけでした。今の時代、ホテルは様々な健康状態に対応する必要があります。ビーガン／ベジタリアンはグルテンフリーではありませんし、過敏性腸症候群（IBS）やセリアック病患者もそうではありません。これらは複雑な問題です。何か調整できるものがあれば助かります。」

「古くからあるマリオットホテルですが、値段は高くありません。1階のレストランでの夕食も良かったのですが、サービスが少し悪かったです。ワインリストは最初から用意されておらず、料理が出てくるのも遅かったです。一番ひどかったのは部屋の火災報知器です。入居して間もなく、フロントから確認の電話がかかってきました。大丈夫だと伝えると、また担当者がドアをノックしに来ました。安全上の理由だとは理解していますが、翌朝また電話がかかってきて、ドアをノックし、火災報知器に触れたかと聞かれました。警報器は天井に届くほど高い位置に設置されていました。満室だったので、触れるはずもありませんでした。それから、シャワーを浴びた人はいますかと聞かれました。シャワーを浴びただけで火災報知器が作動するなんてあり得ないですよね？朝早くに子供たちを起こしたのに、謝罪もせず出て行ってしまったのです。ホテルに苦情を申し立てましたが、18ポンドの子供の駐車料金を免除されただけでした…。」

「tayed at Clayton Hotel Cardiff for a weekend and it was excellent. The location is perfect — right next to Cardiff Central Station and just a short walk to Principality Stadium and the city centre. The room was modern, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly staff and a good breakfast selection. Great value for a 4-star hotel in the heart of Cardiff. Would definitely stay again!」

「Greeted by lovely staff who explained everything clearly! Room was somewhat dated but expected for one of the last family owned hotels in Cardiff! The rooms were clean, had character and had everything you could need right there in the room! Even though its on the high street, I couldn’t hear a thing from my room and had a great nights sleep!」

「Location is superb. A few mins walk if coming by coach. Located in Cardiff centre. Super convenient from banking, shopping to F&B. Happening street. 10mins walk or so if going to Cardiff Central train station. Good security where u need room access card to enter each floor room and also into hotel building which is inside an arcade after 7pm. Friendly n helpful staff. Clean n spacious room different furniture configuration for our 2 rooms booked. . Clean n new towels. AC room with mini fridge n a safe deposit box but mind isn't working though. Complementary Welcome drinks n snack in mini bar which only found out later on upon inquiry of Mineral water. Laminated floor which is a super point for us due to hygienic reason. Bathrobes provided bathroom will get wet easily coz without a door. . Toiletries n disposal slippers provided upon request. Body lotion, body wash, hair shampoo n conditioner provided. House keeping should be more thorough. Wastebin in bathroom not emptied for our 3days stay. Used cups not replaced with new ones at all. Sachets of drinks also not filled up. Overall, Satisfied n will come back again..」

EmmaSaunders10ホテルには全く不満がありませんでした。素晴らしい滞在で、スタッフの方々もとても親切でフレンドリーでした。ホテルは中心部に近く、パブやレストランへのアクセスも抜群です。
お部屋も最高でした！もう帰りたくなかったくらいです。
ルームサービスでボロネーゼパスタを頼んだのですが、これがもう絶品で、もう一皿食べたかったくらいです。

I have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.
