「I love the stay here. Perfect location next to the Bus Station and day trip meeting point. City center is only cost 2 minutes and you can get what you want!
Staff are incredibly friendly, the best hotel in glasgow」
「Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel, but I was disappointed with the concierge at the entrance. While we were unloading several heavy cases, including women and children carrying them, he offered no assistance. Even just opening the door or arranging help would have been appreciated.」
「We stayed at The Leonardo for medical appointments at Gartnaval General Hospital which was just 5 mins away. The hotel was clean but does need some upgrades within the rooms and lobbies. We only had an evening meal and breakfast on our 1st visit evening meal was fine, but we paid £16.99 each for breakfast which was not worth the £16.99. There was a lot of choice but the food from the hot plate was not hot only lukewarm. Our other visits we went out for our meals. Cannot fault the staff they were always polite, friendly and eager to help. 」
「Absolutely amazing hotel. We got it at a time when rates were cheap so it was so worth the money. The pool and sauna were great and we were allowed to use it after check out too. Reception staff were always helpful. Good view from the window too of the river.」

「The location is perfect for families traveling with a lot of luggage since it’s literally right next to the central station — super convenient! But just a little heads-up: the hotel is also quite close to some bars, so at night there can be a lot of drunk people around. It was generally safe, but there was one night when me and my fams went out to buy water and as we were heading back into the hotel, some drunk people started shouting at us and asking for a lighter. 😅
In summary the hotel itself was really good overall! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️」
「Lovely experience from start to finish, the oversized coffee mugs was a great touch, thank you for that ☺️ and I got to see possibly the most unique sight just round the corner, pictured, as for the lobby and the hotel, a mix of modern, art deco and comfy seating downstairs.
Be warned the bed was HUGE!!! I could fit 3 full size pillows across, so no danger of falling out for me ☺️
I will be going back 👍」
ゲゲストCute boutique hotel in a prime spot near Buchanan St and with some rooms overlooking George Square. We stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 7th floor, which had a great view, but was a little unhandy when the only elevator went out of service 3 of the 5 days during our stay. The room was spacious in terms of hotel rooms in the city centre, and well equipped with everything we might need in the kitchenette, plenty of storage space, good quality linens and towels, upscale toiletries, and a roomy bathroom with a nicely tiled shower. The staff were all very helpful, and did a good job of communicating with us when my husband's golf bag we had shipped over from the US preceded our arrival by a few days; they kept it in reception until we got there. Parking is a good distance away, and there is no good place to load/unload, though if you follow the instructions from Reception, you can get a discounted daily rate at the parking garage they recommend. The shuttle bus from the airport, subway, and, train station are within a few blocks, so you definitely don't need a car to get places within (and to a great extent without) the city.
Honestly we loved this hotel, found it a good value for the price, and will definitely consider staying here again on a return visit to Glasgow.
DDeeeedeeDecent hotel really central. The rooms are small but you’ve got everything you need and they’re new. Breakfast was grand: my daughter loved the pancake machine. Gym had enough to keep you entertained. Lots of sitting areas downstairs with games: this was nice.
VvicchenggWe enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.
RRRosssWe stayed at Sandman for its proximity to Hydro for a concert. In that regard the location was good, an easy 20 minute walk. Glasgow is super hilly so be aware if you’re walking anywhere. The hotel was very good, excellent breakfast, superb nice staff. Clean rooms, fit my family of 4 well enough!
ZZidane 齐达内Doubletree by Hilton is quite a good stay in Glasgow, it’s only a few minutes walk from either of the train stations or coach station, and the entire aesthetic of the hotel is nice.
Amenities were a bit lacking tho, no slippers, or toiletries like toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. I asked for cotton buds at one point but never received them.
Besides that tho, would recommend! The gym and swimming pool are nice too, and breakfast buffet is also a big plus!
MMinimeet2233Great location, super close to city centre and very convenient. Staff members are always helpful and super friendly. On my final night there was a storm in Scotland and staff was super helpful with trying to see if they can book me for one extra night just in case if trains don’t run the next day :) really happy with the service. Breakfast has good selection!
Room is okay, the AC seemed a bit old and broken but still works, temperature in the room is fine!
匿匿名ユーザーI liked the room which was very spacious, clean and the bed comfortable.
The staff were nice and helpful.
The hotel is very well located.
I think the breakfast needs improvement but this is really the only small concern
ゲゲストI did not like the hotel location. Very spoiled location due to broken glass on pavings, people loitering and smoking substances. Reception - ok. My key card did not work on first attempt so had to revisited reception to fix. Room - dated and needs total upgrade - all old stuff. Secondary glazing - replace to modern. Bathroom - full update required. Departure morning - waited 10-15 minutes for lift to come up to the 12th floor - it never did. So resorted to using staircase to 5th floor where lift was coming to and used from there to ground level. The lift is slow so need to be modernised. If all of the above was attended to then I would return.
