Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

サービスは平均的で、フロントデスクはあまり熱心ではありません。チェックインに時間がかかり、ずっとフロントに立っていましたが、ソファに座って待っていてもいいですかとお願いしたところ、グループでソファで待たせていただきました。私たちは長い間待っていましたが、いつチェックインするかを教えてくれませんでした。私たちは再びフロントデスクに行き、鍵を受け取りました。サービスは平均的です。でも設備も景色も良い٩(๑^o^๑)۶。

It was such a pleasant stay located in Kaibae which is my favorite area when I stay in Koh chang. The price is too good to be real comparing to what you get, free breakfast, clean nice budget room, very polite staff, great location, 4 pools in the property?? It's just insane to me!!

The beach is the selling point here. A great walkout and sunset spot. The hut room we had was acceptable but had a slightly moldy aroma if the ac ever turned off. The bathroom was a cool concrete mosaic! The breakfast was all right. The location is central and renting a scooter is convenient.

The Salakphet Resort is quiet, secluded place on the south east tip of Ko Chang. The rooms are out over the water, making it a fun and unique place to stay. The atmosphere is very quiet. The rooms have net beds in front of them for sunrise coffees and sleepy afternoons. The Salakphet restaurant has delicious seafood and excellent views of the ocean and nearby islands. The resort also provides kayaks for free and there are two islands close by that are easy to kayak to. Paddle boards are also available, and the front desk is very helpful in arranging other activities and transportation. What travelers should know: there isn’t much around the Salakphet Resort. There is no beach for swimming and no restaurants within safe walking distand to eat at other than the Salakphet’s own Seafood Restaurant. The prices at the restaurant are a little high (about 300baht for a dish). There is a great bakery just down the path (AOY’s) that’s you must visit. You can kayak out to beautiful beaches, but the water the bungalows are on is not very clean. Rent a car or scooters and visit a lighthouse and fishing villages nearby.

2つのプールとビーチへのアクセスを備えた素敵なホテルです。 緑に囲まれた静かな場所です。 サルを見かけることもありますが、攻撃的ではありません。 「ア」という名前の猫はとても人懐っこく、社交的です。 スタッフは親切で、朝食もボリューム満点です。

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, die Angestellten waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.
