ドメーヌ メルシーヌ(Domaine Mélusine)

Rather basic, but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. No hair dryer and only one small bar of soap for three people. No paper towels. Mugs were too small for a normal cup of coffee. Having said all that, I'd happily stay here again.

Great service, clean room. The staff was very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious. They even had maple syrup on the buffet. ♥️

I stayed here for 3 nights as part of my visit to the nearby (excellent) puy du fou theme Park. All the staff were really friendly and spoke good English, which helped. The chalet and overall site/facilities opened around 3 years ago, but everything looks brand new. The breakfast buffet and evening meals were all really high quality and again all the staff were all really friendly. I got the impression that people liked working there and had a sense of pride and willingness to make people enjoy their stay. The only downside I saw, was that (to my surprise) the site seemed relatively empty, it was only perhaps at 10-15% capacity. I had booked it expecting it to be busy and for there to be lots of families with kids, so my children would be able to go off and have fun with other kids, but there were surprisingly few families/kids there. I put this down to 2 factors, 1) the price (it's quite expensive) and 2) lack of awareness of its existence. One other point of note, I made the Journey to Puy du Fou/Domaine Melusine without a car. Due to the location of both sites, that's not really feasible/practical. On day 2 (Sunday) it proved impossible to get a taxi and if it wasn't for the tenacity/persistence of the excellent staff, who managed to sort out some transport for us to Cholet, then we might still be stuck there!

We booked this hotel as stop 4 of 8 on our tour of France and London. We visited Put Du Fou and the on-site hotels were booked. This place could be really great. The cottages are cute and new and they have the fluffier towels that I've ever seen in a hotel. The problem is that the place was empty. The restaurant was closed most of the time. Reception closed at 8, and everything in town closes early. I really think that we were alone the last nightly we were there.

Great place! Cottages very big and well set up! Very big living room with well equipped kitchen. Restaurant very tasty and breakfast all you can eat delivered to the cottage in the morning Big parental suite with private bathroom and 2 other bedrooms with double beds. Tv in both living room and parent’s bedroom, big balcony with tables and chairs. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Great location to visit the Puy du Fou only a few minutes from the park by car. Domaine very clean and calm. Domaine magnifique avec restaurant de qualité. Chalet tout confort, spacieux et très propre. A quelques pas du Puy du Fou. Je le conseille fortement.

T’es joli cottage sur un beau domaine Tout est t’es bien entretenu . L’accueil est chaleureux et tout le monde est attentif à nos besoins . Nous y avons séjourné lors d’une visite au parc du Puy du fou qui se trouve à 2/3 minutes en voiture. Tout était parfait . Merci à vous

Notre choix s'est porté sur la proximité avec le Puy du Fou (5 min en voiture). Mais à notre arrivé, le domaine Mélusine nous a agréablement surpris, le confort, le cadre, le restaurant, le lagon et surtout le personnel:). Nous avons prolongé notre séjour pour en profiter davantage. Je recommande.

Séminaire de travail, privatisation pour l’occasion ; super domaine , très bien aménagé et très joli. Les bungalow 3 chambres sont super , très grand et très bien équipé. Dîner sous forme de buffet de bonne qualité Un beau domaine à quelques minutes du puy du fou.
