A beautiful little gem in Lindau. From the warm and friendly welcome to the beautiful rooms and SPA area. The hotel seems newly renovated, and all is cozy and clean. Even the SPA area is great for such a hotel. The location is directly at the lake side with a great view. The breakfast is really good, not overhelming big whatever you need you get. A hotel I would go again.

We had a perfect lunch in this delightful location, placed in front of the beautiful harbor. We shall definitely spend a holiday here!!! We highly reccomend it for the view, the kindness of the staff! If you will be around Lindau Insel, don't miss it!

This is a very nice hotel with an unbeatable location....right at the harbor. The tour boats are right there and offer many options to explore Lake Konstanz. It was very busy by the harbor when we arrived on a Sunday but when the day trippers left, it was very peaceful and quiet...and truly beautiful. Room was very large but had one weird feature found in some European hotels that I do not understand. The shower was in the main part of the room and was essentially a glass box. No privacy whatsoever when one is showering. Why hotels do this, I don't know. Our friends had a room next to us and had a normal bathroom set-up so one could simply ask for a traditional bathroom/shower if you want to avoid this. Otherwise, bed was very comfortable and we had lots of space. We had a room on the side of the hotel so it was a bit dark. They have very nice spa facilities (one clothing-free area on the top floor) but other areas for lying and reading or whatever and other steam rooms, pools for bathing-suited guests. Very nice. Staff is lovely and breakfast had a good number of options. They have outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the harbor. We came with bicycles which were stored in a garage a few blocks away in very safe storage...basically a huge cubicle which is under the floor of a garage and is raised and lowered like an elevator. Very cool and very secure. Would absolutely stay here again but request a more traditional room.

An Excellent Stay and Experience, and especially the wonderful room upgrade. As a travelling businessman I have had 1000's of overnight stays and 10,000s of dining out experiences. A few of my family members have worked in the hotel and restaurant business. I have also taught at a Hotel School in Zürich for 15 years, so have extensive experience and experience in the Hospitality Sector. The Young Ladies who checked us in and out, served us at breakfast, and the Young Man who helped us with out-front parking, bags, and room upgrade did their jobs very well. Lovely lakeside and mountain view, bright, sunny, well-appointed room, extensive and delicious Breakfast Buffet with full-American Breakfast offered (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes) in addition to usual European fare. Complimentary glasses of Prosecco at check-in, trip bag with loaf of bread and water bottles at check-out. We visit Lindau often, and Highly Recommend this property for your next visit.

We enjoyed an excellent two weeks at this hotel. Fabulous facilities, very friendly staff and brilliant location. We could not have asked for more. We are a family of three and stayed for two weeks making full use of the spa facilities and wellness areas. Hope to return to Lindau and the Yachthotel sometime soon.

This beautiful updated hotel is in a great location. Rooms are modern, spacious and so clean. The staff speaks English beautifully and the breakfast buffet is delicious. The parking is a bit tricky, but the staff is very helpful with that as well.

An excellent location for this hotel right on the waterfront. If you are coming by car, it is worth booking a parking place as the surrounding area is largely a pedestrian zone. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast good. There is a small pool (for sitting in, not swimming) on the top floor, and a sauna both of which turned out to be nudist (although, thankfully, this is not compulsory). As with other small German towns, the place is deathly quiet by 9pm and that includes the hotel bar.

Everything fabulous. we love the welcome drink; very nice service. Excellent location in front of the lake. And we love the external swimming pool, sauna and lounge. With cafe and chocolates for free.

This hotel is situated on the iconic waterfront in Lindau, features and exceptional restaurant and breakfast, and would go for $6-800/night in NYC. The spa is wonderful, definitely take advantage of the nude 5th floor rooftop sauna and plunge pool. Rooms are so well done. Will definitely stay here again.
