The Eurostars Lisboa Baixa is very nice hotel. Its central location is the best there is. It is easy to go from there to other parts of the city, to take public transport, to sit on a tram or to dive to the subways. The hotel staff are very joyful, friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast is excellent. The selection is wide and the coffee is good. The service at the breakfast is pleasantly friendly. There was no complaint about the facilities in our room. Bed, pillows, sheets, all good quality - even toilet paper. The bathroom was renovated and well designed. The shower room kept the water in itself. The robes were big enough for us, who were a bit bigger than average visitors. Air conditioning works if needed, but you can also open the window, which is great. The soundproofing of the windows was also good. Just putting the curtain on and open was difficult because of a bad instrument. They should be repaired.

This hotel has the friendliest, most helpful staff in any hotel I've stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble. From bringing a coffee to our room when we arrived as we had no milk, booking restaurants, taking us to where an Uber could meet us- and staying with us till it arrived- anything and everything. We had the suite, and it was extremely spacious, clean and well planned. There was a kettle and coffee machine, but only two coffee pods and no creamers provided. When I asked for some, I was told there was a problem with their suppliers. No big problem, as there is tea and coffee available 24hours in the restaurant, and water, so even though the hotel does not provide bottled water after the initial one, I was able to fill my bottle up whenever I wanted. In the morning at breakfast- which was ample with a good range of breads, pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, meats, smoked salmon, salad, eggs, bacon- I would ask for a small jug of cold milk to keep in our mini bar to have in my tea. This was a mini bar, not a fridge, but chilled enough to keep milk in for the day. This is the only hotel I have been in where I was encouraged to take some pastries out with me from the restaurant to have during the day! The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas, and is on a pedestrianised street, so very quiet. The location is perfect- short walk to the main square, 10 minutes to Rossio Train Station to get a train to Sintra. All in all, a very good choice for a lovely week in Lisbon.

The location is great. For the price paid I expected: 1) air conditioning ( it did not work, and when "fixed", it really didn't cool the stuffy room) . 2) the fridge doesn't really cool. 3) not providing a bottle of water for every day of the stay struck me as beneath something acceptable from a one star hotel. SHOWER IS AMAZING!

We stayed 5 nights at this wonderful hotel in the heart of Lisbon, where convenience meets a boutique atmosphere. Every single person we encountered was helpful, kind, and welcoming - from Justin at breakfast in the morning; to Carlotta, Joao, and Rodrigo at the front desk; to Tomas the bellman. Whether we needed help navigating the city, scheduling day trips, finding the best Ginginya place, or looking for a new place to have dinner we were met with only an enthusiastic desire to help. The rooms were also spotless and we had a treat left for us every night (chocolates, pastel de nata, you name it!). On top of all of this, the location was very convenient in the Baixa area, making it easy access to Bairro Alto/Chiado and Alfama. Basically a 5-10 minute walk from anywhere. I would encourage anyone to stay at this wonderful hotel!
