Great little boutique hotel, excellent service. Very quiet. Fantastic area very safe and walking distance to Museums, shopping, dining Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, etc. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very nice, far away from the chaos but close to the shopping roads. Rooms, corridors and common spaces are not too spacious (but in line with London's standards). The furniture is well-curated and high quality. Breakfast was a little bit complicated: fist morning we had to wait more than 1 hour, but the next days it went better. Also during lunch the service was not marvelous.

Wow what a beautiful hotel with beautiful staff too, they made our stay Exceptionally Wonderful and were so helpful with anything we asked, we will definitely be coming back! Thank you x

L’hôtel montre des signes de fatigue évidents. Bruit étrange, intermittent dans le bar qui est par ailleurs magnifique. Difficile d’expliquer qu’un hôtel si soucieux du détail puisse tolérer un pareil bruit de vibration dans un lieu qui a vocation à être apaisant. Ma chambre -la 106- n’est pas à recommander. Très joli petit salon mais chambre et salle de bain vraiment à l’étroit. Mécanisme de la porte d’entrée défectueux. L’hôtel se distingue par son personnel exceptionnel, une constante au fil des années.

My husband and I stayed at the Franklin it was perfect! Garden view unbelievably quiet. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Everything about this hotel was top shelf. Our dinner at the restaurant was exceptional worth every pound! We would return tomorrow if we could! We will be back. October 2023 we stayed for 8 nights. Katrina M

We like the property but it needs refurbishment and is very dark in the common areas and carpets ripped in hallways. The bathroom was large but somewhat dysfunctional because the wet area leaked heavily into the dry area and the fixtures in the bath were not functioning properly. This is supposed to be a five star property and it is not. The staff and concierge were lovely and helpful. Although they gave us an upgrade, it was only after we complained about the first room to which we were assigned which was unacceptable. We told them that we were going to be leaving the hotel

Clean property and friendly staff but certainly not a 5-star hotel. It’s small and everything is very dark. They show pictures of beautiful gardens but they are not accessible and the room can either run air conditioning or heat but you can’t control both, so need to call the front desk to have them switch over between the two. We had our toilet paper holder falling off every day and when we showered, there was water everywhere on the floor. It’s a clean hotel in a nice neighbourhood, good for walking, lots of restaurants and staff is very accommodating but it should never be rated at a 5-star simply based on the facilities.

Das Hotel ist in einer guten Lage, sehr nett und ruhig und das Personal bemüht sich sehr und ist sehr freundlich. Leider gibt es viele Mängel. Wir waren jetzt mehrmals da aber diese werden auch nach Hinweisen nicht behoben. Leider kein Hotel mehr für unsere zukünftigen Aufenthalte.

There’s nothing wrong with the hotel, location is good, it’s clean and staff are friendly/helpful but it’s just not worth the money nor a 5-star rating based on the room and amenities. If I’d paid less and it was rated a 3-4 star, I’d probably give it a much better rating but you can do better for your money somewhere else in the area.
