In the heart of the Souk but still tucked away that it's still very peaceful and quiet. The Riad & Rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable. Breakfast is basic but very nice and plentiful. Our room was cleaned, new towels and bed made every day once we where out (which we didn’t expect). The host gave us all the advice necessary and always on hand for assistance. The Riad is tucked away in an alley and it would be hard to find if you don’t know it’s there. This is why we opted for the Riad to have a taxi (15 Euro) waiting for us at the airport that could take us straight there. After that it is very easy to find. The main square ( Jemaa El-Fnaa) is no more than a few minutes walk and around the corner from Place De Epices. Where you will find nice restaurants (Nomad, Cafe de Epices, L'Mida) which I highly recommend. I would recommend Riad Samarine 100%.

Like many Riads this one is tucked away down an alley and takes a bit of finding. Google maps will get you there though. 5 mins walk to the main square. Close to everything but you won't be woken by prayer calls. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere once you go through the front door and enter within. Nice refreshing plunge pool and big roof top terrace. We (2 adults + 2 teenagers) stayed in a large room with 1 double bed and 2 singles in a curtained off area that gave privacy. Very clean and nice hot showers. Breakfast was nice. Mint tea, coffee, bread, pancakes etc. Host was very helpful with advice, booking travel and responded to messages quickly before we arrived. English speaking. WiFi is good.

I stayed here for 2 nights after a trek in the Atlas Mountains and it's the perfect place from wind down and explore Marrakesh. Finding it isn't so straightforward, it's tucked away down a small side street in the Souk, but once you get inside it's a real haven of peace from all the activity outside. The rooms are basic but nicely decorated in a typical Moroccon style. Big comfy beds and well appointed bathroom. The Riad also has lovely roof top terrace, perfect for laying in the sun if you don't want to be out in the souk or main square. Breakfast is fairly standard and the staff were kind enough to prepare an early breakfast for us when we needed to leave early in the morning. The only issue, which isn't a complaint is that you can't get a taxi to the door - meaning you have to carry your bags down the narrow alleyways past all the stalls. Not a problem early in the morning, but not so much fun when it's busy.

We spent 12 nights in this amazing Riad which is situated right in the centre of the market but very quite. You would be surprised how not even a slight noise goes through the walls from the loud (chaotic) market! We had a room on the ground floor which was clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Spacious wardrobe with safe. Yes, the windows are a bit see through but nothing that a curtain can’t cover. Great bathroom too with hot water. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly. The owner Abdul Latif was really helpful giving us useful tips for our upcoming trips we planned during our stay. He also recommended us with places to eat. Don’t be intimidated by the alley that leads to the Riad, it’s very safe! The terrace is beautiful to sit on for a chilled evening with a glass of Moroccan tea. I would recommend downloading an offline map (maps.me) as this will help you navigate through the market alleys and finding your way back to the riad. Overall it is the place to stay when visiting Marrakech. We will be definitely returning to this Riad in the near future!

We just got back from morocco and we stayed at riad Samarine. By far the best place we've stayed in abroad! Perfect location and super clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Abdul Latif who helped us with whatever we needed. If your looking for a riad in the centre of Marrakech this is the one to book!

Good location. Staff were really nice and helpful. We had the ground floor room and it was very large, clean and nice. Breakfast varied each day, we really liked the different types of pancakes. Location for breakfast was amazing too. The windows were a bit see through which made us nervous but we just made sure the curtains were drawn. Would recommend :)
