Myself and my 3 sisters (all in our 40s) visited for 5 days in September, the journey to the resort was good, private transfer to the ferry(50 minutes) (escalator not working so you need to walk down the stairs), ferry was great, private transfer to the resort, beautiful scenery on the 25 minute journey The resort is just stunning and the staff are very friendly! Our room was perfect and the beds extremely comfortable, we took little lights to hang around the patio that smelt amazing, full of lavender and olive trees! You will need mozzie bands, plug ins, citronella candles as there are mozzies about but we didn’t get bitten until we were waiting for our transfer back as forgot to put on mozzie bands and spray 🤦🏼‍♀️ The food was really good, always so much choice and always hot, no English teabags so take your own, no baked beans or ketchup which was no problem for us but I know people moan about this 🙄 the red and white wine was really nice too as was the beer, never waited long in the queue for the bar or you can fill up yourself in the restaurants The walk around the resort is beautiful but very steep and uneven down to the water so you need to be able to be steady on your feet! The water is amazing and the paddle boards and water gym were really good fun Take sea shoes! The entertainment was fun We had a huge thunderstorm while we were there but had plenty of places to go and play cards ie the restaurants stayed open when it rains! We met lots of lovely people around the pool (as we were laughing ALOT) but everyone was joining in so hopefully we weren’t too annoying 😂 The pools were cold but once you were in they were lovely! Ice cream served at the little hut by restaurant pool Afternoon snacks served by the bar We didn’t use the indoor pool but we were allowed to use the gym showers before we left late afternoon All in all a fabulous long weekend was had by us all and we would all definitely return! Highly recommend this little hidden gem
