Bode Country House

Modern hotel in contrary to the medieval Monsanto. Everything was perfect, nice rooms, beautiful surroundings and very friendly hosts. You are set in the heart of the nature here..orange trees, olive trees, sheep..totally quiet place.

days ago on Google We spent three wonderful nights staying at Stefano and Catarina’s idilic country hotel. Bode is within very close proximity to the historical town of Monsanto. We were able to easily explore the area and always felt happy to return to the spacious and impeccable accommodations at Bode. We stayed in a room upstairs, with stunning views across the area - perfect for watching the sunset. The bed was very comfortable and all linens and towels were top quality. The bathroom was beautifully designed with a great deal of space, a shower and bath. The entire establishment is simply and very stylishly designed, while placing comfort first. We enjoyed the infinity pool on hot days and loved the history of the hotel which was a converted farm, with rooms that use to house an olive press, grain mill and wine cellar. Stefano and Catarina were kind and knowledgeable hosts and made us feel very welcome and cared for. Bode is the accommodation of choice in Monsanto. We will definitely be back!
